Great pool - does not include filter pump
Solid pool. My bigger 15" pool broke due to my sloped backyard and the risers I had pushing into the liner. So I decided this smaller pool will hold us over for the rest of the summer till we get a real above ground next year. Because let's face it, taking these down and putting them up every summer SUCKS more than my 10 year old vacuum. Brand new out of the box tho- sturdy, and easy for the most part. Yes, I might have been near tears when putting the pipes together, but I won't blame the pool set up entirely on that. Please note, this pool does NOT come with the filter pump. It comes with hoses for it- but I just used my left over pump & hoses from my previous pool. I think that's why the price is so good. Perfect size for 2 little kids... add mom in a floaty and it's a bit cramped but even in a bigger pool I'm sure my kids would still be on top of me.

Love the size! GO BIGGER
I was stuck between this pool (12 ft) and the 10 foot pool. I’m so glad I went bigger. Caught is on sale, and it’s been the best upgrade. It took a little while to fill up, it looks nice! The setup was easy peasy! This is my 2nd intex pool. The 1st lasted for years. Hoping the same for this one. 7-10 kids EASILY played for hours in this pool. As long as it’s level, I feel like it’s super easy to clean. I also went with the prism frame! I love that I don’t have to worry about it rusting.

Perfect Pool
12'x30" model I bought my wife an inflatable pool first and realized right away I needed something better. After lots of research and reading a million reviews, we decided this would work best for our situation, and that was the right decision. Now, it says not to put on concrete, and I'm sure that's because concrete will probably tear up the vinyl, so we first laid out some foamy square things and covered our entire back patio with them. I live in the desert and my yard is all rock, so that wasn't going to work, and I needed a pool darn it! So, this thing is sturdy. I was worried at first with the PVC elbows and everything, but it is sturdy as can be. Took all day to fill up, but it is a beautiful specimen. I bought it without the smaller pump as most of the reviews state the included pump isn't too strong, so I bought the next larger pump and haven't had any issues at all. Here are some tips: When setting up check and recheck that there is nothing, and I mean nothing, under the vinyl insert. Somehow three rocks got kicked under and we didn't notice until it was filled. One rock immediately punctured the liner and we were hole hunting on the first night. Used Gorilla tape to patch and it worked perfectly. The next day we found the other two rock and patched them. No other leaks so far! Tip: make sure you balance the chemicals just like you would any pool. Algae grows in pools, you need your chemicals. This isn't a chemical review so I'm not going into details here, but make sure you do your research and keep your pool clean and safe! You can get replacement liners right from Intex so that is what we will do next year instead of storing the liner, but that's your choice obviously. We are just lazy like that. Here are some bullet points: * Rugged and Sturdy * Looks good * Liner feels nice * Easy to setup * Enjoyable * Definitely worth the price. My wife bought a floaty and just lays back in this pool all day every day this summer. It is the perfect depth for a flotation pool. At 12', probably a little small for both of us to float and move around much, but two can definitely float. The biggest thing to note is getting in and getting out. My wife is 5'8" and she can get in and out with a stepstool, but we do have one because she does need it sometimes. If you are looking at the 30" model, you should consider a stepstool. That's it. Great Pool, easy to setup, and fun to use! I hope this review was helpful!

Pool for family enjoyment
I'm very happy with this pool! It was easy to assemble, feels sturdy thanks to the steel frame, and it's the perfect size for kids and adults to cool off during hot days. The material looks durable, and it offers great value for the price. A great choice for summer fun in the backyard!

Great pool, horrible customer service
Edit 6/14/23: Changing from 1 star for 4. After being transferred to a few different CS reps, Amazon did end up give me a partial credit for the pool, essentially making the replacement liner free, which is all I was looking for, so I can get one for next year without any leaks. Thanks Amazon for ultimately comin through. Initial Review: This is the second intex pool I've purchased through Amazon. The first one I bought in 2021 and it was great. Due to moving to a bigger space, I decided to upgrade this year. The pool was easy to assemble, is the right size. All in all, excited. However, after a day of it being filled, I noticed that there must be a pinhole on the bottom of the liner somewhere (we made sure the ground was clear of debris, leveled it out, and laid down tarps). I reached out to intex, in the hopes that I could provide all my order info and they'd send me out a new liner. They gave me the run around and wanted me to send the whole pool back. Draining and dismantling a 1700 gallon pool that you just set up isn't ideal, let alone paying a 2nd time to refill it, so I obviously didn't want to do that. Intex won't help, Amazon won't help. So basically, unless the defect makes your pool unusable anyways, you're SOL if something minor is wrong.

Leaks
The thing leaks like no other. We put it up last weekend and after we filled it up it started leaking a bit on the bottom. It was in a spot we could reach, it was near the outer edge, and we patched it. A second one appeared near the first and we patched it. It took long enough to out together and my kids really wanted it so we were trying to keep it. By the third and fourth hole I contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement that took a few days to get here. It slowly drained out the leaks over the next few days and by the time the new pool came it was almost empty. We got the new pool, set it up and it appeared fine. But after a few hours of it being up, we started to see some water trickling out. The problem is, all the holes are on the very bottom and you can’t even patch them without draining the water and then you have to somehow hunt for it, and then hope you got them all before filling it up again and hoping you’re not wasting tons of water. This has been the biggest pain and my kids have been so let down. We don’t even know what to do at this point with it. I hate these pools and wish we’d never bought any of them. Our pool is on a cement pad with a tarp under it to protect it as well.

Floating Heaven!
I can't express how much I love this pool - I have been floating in 82 degree bliss since we set it up. It stays clean thanks to a great cover we purchased separately, the water stays warm, and it's just deep enough for me to float away my stress for hours. We did upgrade the pump, and it's done a teriffic job of keeping the water crystal clear. It was installed on rigid insulation (which was more expensive than the pool but worth every penny) and it took no longer than 30 minutes to assemble. My biggest regret is that I didn't purchase this pool years ago.

Great pool, decent price.
I specifically bought this pool without the filter pump included because i had already bought a better quality filter pump than the ones that usually come with this pool. The pool is sturdy, easy enough to set up by myself and the material is good quality. A lot of work to maintain (sweeping, vacuuming, skimming daily) so i might size down this year but, for the size and value, I’d buy this again if i want a larger pool!

Easy to set up
Be aware pool does not come with a pump. Lining seems nice and thick. We have only had set up for a few weeks but seems like it will last. Great quality for the price. Would recommend

Great pool for young kids
Great pool for young kids stands about 4 feet tall is big enough to float around in, even I enjoy it. Does not include a pump

Great pool for the kids
Slightly confusing assembly as some of the instructions referred to something that doesn’t seem to be on this model, regardless, liber is thick and once you realize that there is no pins or place to put them in, it comes together quickly enough and is quite sturdy.
