This seller did a great job: fast delivery, the right item, perfect! Installing is at 4 stars only because it's very small and the attachment of the two antenna wires was difficult for my big hands, but it went in with perfect fit. Once in my Win 10 Pro Dell Vostro 3400 laptop from 2015 the OS got it working without difficulty and the performance is super clean, fast and it's great having 2.4g and 5g WIFI and now I also have Bluetooth. Great job!!!

just a note to anyone with pfSense, This wont be detected the the FreeBSD system or on pfSense. As a normal WIFI adapter on windows it works great.

I have a miniPC running Linux, which I'm using as a customized wireless AP and router, and bought this card to upgrade it. This card works out-of-the-box with the ath10k wireless driver for Linux (https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/ath10k). Most importantly for me, it works as a 802.11g/n/ac access point (on either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz bands), and signal strength and stability appear to be very good so far after a couple days of use as an AP. The main limitation is that it only has a single radio, so it can only serve as an AP on one channel/band at a time. Dual-radio cards are pretty unusual, so this isn't a surprising limitation.

I used this card to replace the old WiFi card in my Dell Inspiron 5520. Works like a charm and I can finally access the 5G network from my laptop (the previous card was restricted to 2.4G). It is not the easiest component of the laptop to access, you have to take apart some of the components and access the motherboard. But, with a quick YouTube search and a little know-how, this is relatively easy to do. Once you replace the card, it just works! I did not have to install any updated drivers, I could just immediately connect to new networks. That may not be the case for everyone. If you are looking to upgrade your laptop’s WiFi chip to access 5G, this is a great relatively cheap way to do so.

Exactly as advertised. Replaced WiFi card in 8 year old HP laptop. Had 0 issues with install and laptop recognized right way. Went from 40mbs speeds on old card to 400mbs on new card. Bluetooth - Tested with Apple AirPods and Beats pros - No issues, worked great. Well worth the price for such an huge grade.

Downloaded driver and plugged it in but does not work. Windows is stuck in automatic repair mode. I can install my previous card and laptop boots up. Card arrived open so I can only assume a used one was sent.

You can never go wrong with Qualcomm. I have a Asus X555D laptop with an AMD A10 that is several years old. I have been having WIFI issues, dropped signals and performance issues with WIFI and the laptop in general. First thought was the WIFI channels. After some troubleshooting I though this might be with the card that was shipped with the laptop. This laptop came with a Realtek WIFI adapter. I switched it out with this Qaulcomm and I have not dropped a signal and the performance on the WIFI is much better along with the laptop performance has increased. Highly recommend with an AMD chipset.

Worked as stated if you have an older laptop 5 to 7 years old and are DYI capable typically most WIFI cards are easily upgraded. Bandwidth performance is as expected depending on your local network you should get a max throughput of 30 Mb on 2.4ghz on the down load and theoretical on 5ghz. Of about 250 to 300 mbps again it all depends on your quality of network connectivity, typically to get1080 dpi on YouTube you need about 27 mbps on the download to get 4k make sure you use your 5ghz network.
