G. I. Joe Retaliation - Roadblock Figure

I was so looking forward to a Gi Joe version of the Rock (..But when did Roadblock become a ninja of the Arashikage clan? I missed that memo!)! This figure looks great in appearance! However, there are some things that bother me with Roadblock and the other Retaliation figures! -Hasbro has gone to these cheap practices on these Retaliation figures: cutting down the articulation (..which cuts down on poseability), the horrible card art, no foot stands, no file cards, the ridiculus gimmick weapons and there are even using a cheaper softer plastic (..that is especially noticeable in the figure's hand; this plastic makes the hand soft and gummy, hard for the figures to hold their weapons especially Storm Shadow)! From the waist up Roadblock "Road Rock" is like the 25th Anniversary/ Rise of Cobra/Pursuit of Cobra figures; from the waist down he has limited articulation (..his knees are single jointed, his foot & ankle are one solid peice; no articulation whatsoever in the foot & ankle! Hasbro should have thrown in some real weapons into this pack to go along with the gimmick weapon (..I call them Happy meal weapons)! Oh, and the real bummer with this figure is his right hand; you see his right hand has a permanent peice "molded" to his hand so he can't hold weapons like normal Gi Joe figures (..you have to be savvy and remove that silly hand & take another figures hand like Rise of Cobra Heavy Duty's and use that hand; he looks so much better when you do this)! -What was Hasbro thinking on having a permanent peice molded to his right hand (..they could have even had a regular hand in the pack so the consumer could swap out hands)? -I don't know! How would I rate this figure? I give him 3 stars out of 5! This Retaliation Roadblock figure could have been much more promising if Hasbro wouldn't have cut corners on him! -MAYBE HASBRO CAN GO BACK AND FIX SOME OF THESE ISSUES WITH THE FIGURES SINCE THE MOVIE IS BEING DELAYED UNTIL MARCH 29TH OF 2013 (I BELIEVE ALL THE FIGURES & VEHICLES AFTER THE FIRST WAVE ARE BEING DELAYED ALSO)! I have recently added some pictures to show what Gi Joe fans have done to fix the issues with this Retaliation Roadblock (..like the issue with his right hand & no articulation in the ankles and feet; customizing)!

My son loves this GIJoe. He lost his and then Santa got him another. This GIJoe doesn't leave his side.

Figure has a striking resemblance to the Rock. Articulation is good. Weapons are silly. His right hand is molded to the gun which is quite unusual and annoying. It is a quick fix if you have another spare figure though. i would have preferred a more broad-shouldered torso like the one used for Bazooka and for Bench Press. He stands kind of tall and relatively slender. Looks great overall. I am going to pick up the vest version next.
