The best retractable baton case / holster You only get a cheap nylon holster when you buy a retractable baton. I mine lasted 2 weeks then I had to re sew it with 100 lb test fishing line. I found this holster on line. It is heavy duty high quality some sort of plastic. It can rotate 360 degrees locking every few degrees. It was a little tight on my baton so I applied heat to the retention tabs until I got it to the tension I wanted now it's perfect. If your thinking of a retractable baton make sure you order one of these you won't be disappointed.

So I purchased this for my baton that I carry at work because of course they purchased the cheapest holsters and they just keep breaking. So the only problem I had with this baton holster is that my baton was 36 in Long collapse down to 12 in however the weight of the baton was too much for the holster. So the holster would just spin with the littlest bit of pressure. So I removed the holster and placed a washer to make it tighter behind the spring. Ever since then haven't had one problem. The problem that I had was that you could only make it so tight and it would just continually spin because of the weight. Besides that it's a great holster holds up very well tough looks good all I had to do was add a washer just to make it so that the baton holster didn't spin and it stayed locked in place.

Was a little hesitant but made the purchase anyways and I am very pleased with this product. I don’t normally write reviews unless a product is very bad or it surprises me and is good. So onto the review and maybe some helpful tips so your not disappointed. I do suggest a rubber handled baton, and if you do this it will hold it firmly. Because the way it grips the handle; it will eat up a foam handled baton. Another nice feature is you can change how it sits, vertical, slanted forward to Horizontal without removing it from the belt. It has an adjuster on the clip for different size belts and a locking mechanism on the belt clip that will prevent it from disengaging and falling off your belt. This rotating lock device can be a little difficult until it wears in some. On the front of the holder you’ll see four alignment tabs and four locking push/pull tabs. I suggest a drop of superglue in legs and alignment tabs and along the seam of the two half’s even though it feels sturdy. Remember your buying a $13 item. I am interested to see how it holds up during our winter in Alaska. I believe it will last if your not wearing it exposed to the cold (Alaska Cold) for long periods but if your need to have your protection on in very cold climates I do also suggest keeping your baton and holder covered with your coat or something similar. I know this may delay some; bring your baton into action. just practice bring it to ready with your coat just like you would with your concealed firearm.I will update after more daily usage. Strong construction means durability. Pressure points holds the baton stable. It has a rotating mount which makes it quite versatile. When on your belt just pull and turn to the desired position. Perfect for 16" - 28" expandable batons. Even though mine is a Rothco 33" (the big one) it works well for me. For the money? You won't be disappointed. I know that I'm not.

So you need a baton holster but don't wanna spend 50 bucks ....this is a good alternative if you make a few adjustments to it my baton fits great in it ...but I hate the belt attachment...if your a man that has a war belt with MOLLE or a vest with MOLLE than listen close I took off the belt attachment...ripped off the little copper peice it had sticking out of it and drilled a hole through it used used a screw and a eyelet from one of my kydex holster builds...and attached a MOLLE attachment to it it's usually used for holster but I use it for knifes guns batons everything...you can buy them here on Amazon for 12 buckaroos

Best price I've found for this item! Ordered on the 4th, received on the 13th. Awesome and adaptable piece of gear, well designed and very durable. Has a great locking mechanism for the belt clip, which also has an adjustable inner rail to fit any size belt precilely, nice and snug! Really cool featureProfile is definitely not "stealthy", it will be about 2.5 inches from your belt to the face of the sheath/holster. This can only be reduced by maybe half an inch if the rotator is removed and the belt clip is mounted directly to the sheath/holster. Which is easy to do -one screw. Definitely worth the price and is by far a high quality product.

Fits 2" nylon duty belt, I don't know if it'll fit 2 1/4 or above. On my belt it's awesome. Super heavy duty and secure on my belt. I'd totally recommend it. Turns all 360 too and just pull out and it snaps back in. Worth the money for sure.
