Total Forgiveness

I would highly recommend this book to anyone struggling with forgiveness. RT Kendall delivers powerful insights that are both inspiring and practical. Also, his book on Jealousy: A sin that no one talks about, is another must-read. Both books are deeply impactful and absolutely worth reading — 100% recommended!

This book is phenomenal! This hs been an eye opening read for me. I wish every human could read this book!

Good book!!

I bought this book as a gift for my husband who had a very difficult time with forgiveness. He held onto things from his past, his youth and could not move on. Although we are Christian and pray daily. This book opened his eyes, touched his heart and mind and helped him to apply all that he has learned in his walk with God. It has changed his life. I also bought the study guide. He loves them both and we both recommend this book for anyone dealing with forgiveness. It is not as hard as it seems to forgive. Ultimately forgiveness is you and your peace of mind. Not the other person to harmed / hurt you

I got a whole lot out of this book. I highly recommend for those of us who carry grudges and harbor unforgiveness to those who have hurt us. All in sync with God’s will for us.

The book is amazing and is helping me heal And forgive . However, I cannot believe in 2025 Someone has t mentioned to the author And they haven’t changed it “ Oriental”???? Seriously It’s oriental object Asian person. I hope this is clear or Is it “ inscrutable “ like us ?

Great book for people to learn to forgive past trespassers.

I rarely recommend books, even though I have a few that have radically transformed the way I live and love. This is one of those times, and this may be the most important book you ever read: Total Forgiveness, by Dr. R.T. Kendall. Dr. Kendall challenges us to seek to follow Jesus all the way to the cross, to completely forgive those who have wronged us, whether by one act of unspeakable horror or by the constant small offenses that build over years. In his introduction, he explains that the primary way we grieve the Spirit in our lives is by fostering bitterness in our hearts. Ephesians 4:30-32 calls us to “get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, FORGIVING each other, just as in Christ God FORGAVE you.” Bitterness--and all the rest that comes with it--is the fruit of unforgiveness and keeps us from walking in the freedom Christ desires for us. While the concept is simple and biblical, it’s not easy; however, I truly believe Dr. Kendall’s examination of what total forgiveness is, and what it isn’t, will help us find the freedom we long for. My heart has been broken in the best way.

Very eye opening.

My first read of Kendall’s, but after reading this, I bought several other of his books. Great writer, biblically based, theologically sound. I had our whole youth group read this book.
