FURminator Medium to Large Cat deShedding Tool for Long Hair

I bought the small one of these and my cat's really like it. My long hair cat she needs this brush it really does help detangle the fur gets the little loose hairs out and maintains a healthy shiny coat for her. My short hair cat it works great on her too she sheds as well but not as much as my long hair cat. The brush itself is very stable I wish I would have got the bigger one but I aired on the side of caution and got the smaller one because I didn't want it too big for my kitty cats and they're both around 12 to 13 lb. There's no soft bristles this is a metal brush and you do have to follow the directions be sure to read them. It is definitely pet friendly I definitely recommend it if you're into grooming your cats. It's made our life so much easier and my kitty cat is not having as many hairballs.

I have two domestic shorthair cats and I had lost hope to fight their constant shedding in my house. I have to take allergy pills every day and hairballs are a real thing here. On a recent family trip, my sister-in-law showed me this brush. I was skeptical specially because of the small surface to remove hair so I I decided to brush one of her cats to see it in action. Boy, how pleased I was! Although I had to often remove the turf of hair from the brush, there was undercoat fur floating around in the air! I finished brush her cat and immediately ordered one for myself.Yes, the brush is more on the pricey side but the quality is excellent. It’s comfortable to hold it and the comb goes really further down. My two kitties loved it, one even rolling around and coming back for more. It was gentle on their coat and super efficient. It was easy to clean and no hair mayhem when I finished it. Such a great investment, I’m so pleased!

I’m gonna start off by saying I don’t really write reviews, but y’all. My cat was not only purring the entire time I used the short hair brush, after about ~15 minutes of brushing I got out enough undercoat to make another entire cat. Sincerely 10/10

My cat is a long-haired senior baby who struggles to keep herself groomed. She has a very dense undercoat that has been extremely difficult to maintain. Until now!!!Before this brush it was all I could do to keep her as comfortably matt-free as possible but lordy, did we struggle (and often fail). Admittedly, we were using an older brush, which was probably part of the problem. She used to hate being brushed and would only stay still for a few seconds before bolting. When we switched to this brush we actually started to enjoy brushing again!!! She is so soft and silky smooth now. The amount of hair i get off her each time I use it continues to amaze me. Seriously, piles and piles and piles of hair. This brush is a must. I was on the fence for so long because I didnt know if it was worth the money.Tldr: this brush is 1000% worth every penny in my opinion :)

Absolutely the best cat brush/comb!I took my cat to eye specialist and while we reviewed his file, the doctor was brushing him with the Furminator. He was purring the whole time!!! I ordered one and am amazed how much hair comes off! Love this product!!

Was having our main coon cat shaved every 6 months. Got this yesterday and wow! I'm very impressed and will no longer have him shaved when this tool does the trick!

I love this product. The reviews were spot on. My cat was coughing up hairballs multiple times a week and brushing with a normal brush was not cutting it.The reviews led me to this tool and it exceeded my expectations. It removes a lot of loose undercoat hair that the regular hairbrush missed. Her hairballs are down to once a month or so.It's really important to test it on your own skin first so you know what it will feel like for them. That way, you can more gently discover the right pressure for grooming your pet with this too.Super easy to get the hair off the tool too. I could build another cat with it.A trick I use to make mine sit still: creamy cat treat in a tube. It comes out slowly, and so she stays put while I groom her. Win-win.
