Do you have to install with the keyhole on the other side or can it just be mounted on the inside of the door?

Due to the type of design the keyhole must be on the opposite side of the door from the body of the latch (opposite the knob).

Can this be used without installing the key part? So just for an indoor lock and no outside key use?

I think it would work for you. I would think as long as you don’t install the round outside key part, it could be used to lock the door from the inside.

Can I install this lock if my door swing outward?

You would have to take it apart and turn the latch around so it would retract and clear the door jamb as the door shut then engage into the socket.
