All Metal Trac 2 (Trac II, G2, G II) Compatible Razor Handle and 10 Twin Blade Cartridges

Pleased with this product. Sits well to the face and gives a good shave. Like others, more than two blades is a waste and a bit of a faff.

Provides excellent shaving; rather heavy - don't drop onto ceramic washbasin !

I really like this razor handle. Good quallity, and heavy solid metal construction.The only issue I really have is that the back of the cartridge is blocked by the handle, so debris will sometimes get clogged between the blades, instead of rinsing out.Having said that, it's much better than the disposable rubbish, and closer than electric shavers.It's weighty, and makes things much easier.Hopefully getting replacement blades won't be too much hassle.

This is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I have had this razor for about three weeks now and shave with it every day.I found out several years ago that three or more blades is too many to deal with, as they would cause razor burn and irritation. However, using a traditional double edged razor wasn't giving me the close shave I wanted either. The Gillette Sensor seemed to be my best bet, but the cartridges are a bit pricey and the pivot-head really didn't do much for me, so I stuck with my Edwin Jagger DE.However, I had issues with optimal blade angle and safety. (I cut a chunk out of my thumb trying to untwist the blade head on my previous razor, because it was stuck.) Knowing that I had previously had success with twin blade razors, I decided to look on Amazon and see if there was a Trac II razor.This one has the perfect heft and ergonomic design, and the cartridges are easy to change. Some reviews have said that the handle is slippery. However, I dry my hands thoroughly after lathering my face, and I have had no issues with that. It feels perfect to me.I did have some redness for a few days as I adjusted to the twin blades, after using a single blade razor for a long time. However, I did get used to it, and now I just get a close shave every day, with no nicks or irritation, and it looks great.Thank you, Amazon.

I haven't been satisfied with razors for years now. Was using Mach 3 for a while. Nothing special. I shave around 2-3 times a week. I recently found some old Trac 2 blades, a full package of 10. So I started to look for a Trac 2 razor to use them up. Came across the Taconic razor which came with blades too. It was fairly pricy at $37 plus shipping but I gave it a try. If I got 6-8 months out of it then it wouldn't be too bad. First try HOLY CRAP! What a shave! I can't remember the last time I had that close of a shave. It's been years. With 2 blades only! Give it a try!

Blades were great, and gave multiple usage.Shaver felt great and solid. It does get slippery if water drips on handle, so needs towel drying once or twice during shave, but not a biggie.
