these are great for making a personalized gift. I put photos in these little glass magnets. The magnet itself is not super strong but adequate. Here's a tip on how to do photos. I used PowerPoint to put about a dozen photo images on a 4x6 standard size photo format. I did a circular cropping of each photo, and then placed it on a 4x6 rectangle. I saved the image as a JPEG and sent it to Walgreens to be photo printed. I made three different prints of very slightly different sizes to make sure I had it right. The prints were only about $0.50 each. I left a colored line around each image so I could cut it easier with scissors and put it in the magnets.

These were such fun to work with! I created magnets for all of my coworkers, and everyone loved them! I have reordered them multiple times for gifts for family, friends, and neighbors. They are easy to work with, and you can fill the decor space with pics, forms, and even "lumpier" items such as sand, flower petals, etc. Very easy to personalize. My niece asked me about them to use as teacher gifts. I am super pleased with them and will continue to use these as my "go to" way to personalize small gifts.

Works as expected

Great quality! Got these to make a gift for a distant inlaw. We put in pictures of the family and they look great. The glass is a good quality, although you may want to wipe the glass down with some glass cleaner. They get kinda mudgy from handling them. Magnets are great and adhere well to appropriate surfaces. Exactly as described. Would by again for another craft project.

These are great! Bought them to use in the classroom for students to use as indicators to track progress through a project. Use them on the whiteboard. Easy to put student name or number in. These have a little weight to them and are not chintzy. The magnet is not hugely powerful but would hold simple paper or small postcard sized items perfectly.

I used these to make photo magnets for the office org chart that is used daily. They came with a tool to easily pop the covers off and place the photo inside. The best feature in my opinion is that the covers are made of glass so it lends to a durable magnet of substance that won't easily fly off the board. The magnets hold firmly to the board. Great product.

These are nice but extremely small. You are very limited what you can fit inside the small capsule.

I purchased this for my son to make personal magnets as gifts. Rather than purchasing the items to make the magnets separately, I bought this set and it worked great. Makes for an easy craft for parents of small children. Highly recommend!
