Very durable latch pins with a strong spring. These help hold my shed Doors closed tightly. Easy to install and use. Come with okay screws but I always use better ones. They are a good size and weighty.

I use these on my stowage building doors. They are easy to install, heavy duty latches. Would buy again.

This latch works very well as a secondary latch to keep the doors shut on my service truck. The old latches are worn a lot and road vibrations cause them to open at random but with this latch added for secondary protection it stays shut securely all the time

These are very sturdy and well built. I haven't got around to using them yet but they are very well built. They are pretty thick material and the pin is really sturdy.

I use six of these on my chicken coop. Absolutely a must-have. Coyotes and Javelina stop by every week and pull at the doors, no break-ins ever. They also try to dig under but it’s Arizona dirt which, when dry, is Arizona concrete. I’ve haven’t had one fail in any way (only had them a year), no rust either. Still look as good as the day they went on. Decently thick steel, perfect fit with a good deal of ability to span a gap. Excellent value, I’ll undoubtedly buy them again.

I purchased these to place on top and bottom of one of the two 2x4 framed doors I placed on my backyard shed. The post is nice and long, so it easily accommodated the gap I have between the door and the frame. There is an 'open' catch so you can keep the pin lifted up for the door to swing freely when not in use. Probably in the description, but I didn't remember that as a feature when I installed these, but very happy it is there. Because of how I framed the door, I needed one of the metal catches to be flat. The metal is pretty thick (well constructed!!) so I couldn't hammer it completely flat, but certainly flat enough--not disappointed at all in having to mod that or in how it turned out. Thee are well made and I can't see how they will fail any time soon--i anticipated *many* years of use, like they will likely outlive me. Easy to install. I did use some longer screws than those provided for greater holding power and since I had the thickness of 2x4s to work with, that is possible in my installation. The threads on the provided screws are wide/coarse so they are probably ample if you had to work in constraints of thinner material. Very happy and would purchase again.
