Vibram Men's FiveFingers KSO EVO | Barefoot Cross-Training Shoe for Balance and Stability

I'll start by saying that this is easily the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. What it is great for: Walking becomes an activity that is absurdly fun. I can go into any store or place where I need lateral movement and it literally feels like I am wearing some sort of super shoe. I have bad achilles tendonosis and very flat feet, and this is the first shoe that causes absolutely no trouble at all in that capacity. In the past I have been prescribed ortho treatments/inserts with limited success. The reason it doesn't hurt my achilles is the supple nature of the back heel. How it conforms to the foot is gentle and doesn't offer the dangerous rigidity found in most other shoes. Weight bearing exercise: I have used this on stair climbing workouts with my bodyweight 215 lbs + up to 80 lbs of additional weight. Surprisingly, the shoe handles the 290 lbs total weight without any problems at all. In fact, on my normal stairs routine, I can feel the knee, calf muscle and various foot muscles tracking like they naturally should. That is a little hard to describe accurately until you feel it yourself, but it is wonderful to notice how a body is supposed to move. I get a better calf workout on stairs by using these shoes and it is way more fun. What I wouldn't use it for: You can get away with running on grass or soft surfaces with this, but I definitely wouldn't pick this one for road or trail running on concrete. Vibram has other offerings for those endeavors which I am actively exploring. For me it doesn't offer quite enough padding for all out sprint workouts and is better suited to high agility movement (definitely great for weight lifting).

This is a great product. Very minimal feeling. It's a little big on left foot. This is size 47. The 46 was too tight. These are almost just right. I might order alphas instead. The alphas seem alot more roomy. I wanted to try other vibrams. These aren't bad if you can right size. God bless.

Love them wear them most of the seasons except winter , feels like I’m bare footed. Awsome shoe

The shoes are weird at first but you get use to them. They are great for a casual walk and taking breaks from using shoes that then to squeeze your toes together. However do not to any heavy exercise with these shoe for which you can fracture your foot.

Wow, I look forward to finishing my coffee so I can put these five fingers on. I love em. You can feel the earth as your walking. I always boating and grip is #1. Five fingers delivers. Very Happy

I have used Vibrams for over 7 years and have only went though 3 pairs ,they hold up well.I needed a newer pair just because my older ones came apart a It at the toes.It seems they made more room for the toes and made the shoes a bit smaller.So my toes go in super easy now but I took the advice and ordered a 47 instead of a 46 (all my older ones).It definitely is a close fit like it should be and a size smaller would have really tight.I have to wait to see if they hold up as well but the quality is still there.I think they adjusted the fit for people with more weight on their body.

I wear a 13 tennis shoe....had to exchange these for a larger size after I got the size 14....so now I will wait for the size 15 to see if they fit. Really hurt my toes bad.... UPDATE: I WANT TO WARN YOU ALL; IF YOU DRIP DRY THESE SHOES AS THE INSTRUCTIONS SAY TO DO....YOU WILL REGRET IT. I HAVE HAD TO WASH THESE SHOES 3 TIMES IN A ROW TRYING TO GET THE SOUR SMELL FROM DRIP DRYING OUT...IT DIDN'T WORK ONCE. I DON'T RECOMMEND BUYING THESE. I had to eventually dry them on gentle hoping they won't shrink just to be able to get dryer sheets to stop the smell....it worked...but they shrunk 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

I gave it a 3 star coz 1 week after using them, the adhesive sticking the sole near the big toe came off, that’s annoying given the price of the shoe, coz I’ll have to spend some more on repairing it. Overall, I Love them, it takes your foot a week or 2 to get comfortable in them, you’ll need comfortable five finger socks as well coz the sole is thin.

Also hier meine ersten Erfahrungen mit dem Produkt. Am Anfang kam kurzzeitig die Angst, das sie doch nicht passen. Glücklicherweise sollte sich das dann allerdings schnell im Nichts auflösen. Die Berechnung der Fusslänge mittels Zollstock hat in meinem Fall super geklappt, der Schuh fällt so aus wie es die Berechnungstabelle vorgibt, dafür volle Punktzahl. Das anziehen ist beim ersten mal ziemlich lustig, weil man die Zehen erstmal einfädeln muss. Mittlerweile weiss jeder Zeh wo er hingehört und die Dinger sitzen fast so fix am Fuss wie normale Schuhe. Ich rate allerdings jedem der Dieses Schuwerk zu ersten mal benutzt, sich auf Muskelkater einzustellen. Wo sie auftreten werden ist glaub ich individuell sehr unterschiedlich, aber sie werden auftreten ! Der Tragekomfort ist absolut abgefahren und man nimmt das laufen mal volkommen anders zur Kenntnis als mit normalen Schuhen. Man kann deutlich die unterschiedlichsten Oberflächen des Bodens spüren ohne das einen ein Stein oder ähnliches piekst. Man merkt das da was ist, aber es tut nicht weh :-) Momentan trage ich die Schuhe quasi immer. Ich hab allerdings auch kein problem damit wenn jemand mal komisch auf meine Füsse guckt. Die Verarbeitung ist top, bei der Preislage sollte das allerdings auch so sein. Deshalb auch overall von mir volle Punktzahl, erwartungen voll erfüllt

En mi caso, el dedo pequeño no queda tan ajustado debido a o forma de mis pies. Quizás haya otros modelos que coincida mejor la forma con la de mis pies. Conviene revisar otros modelos de fivefinger. Pero en general son muy cómodos y perfecto para andar en casa y hacer ejercicios de fuerza. Importante al principio usar calcetines finger.

Ich habe derzeit drei verschiedene Modelle in Gebrauch. Diesen vibram five fingers in schwarz habe ich mir bereits zum zweiten Mal gekauft. Ich laufe ihn zwar nicht, trage ihn aber sonst zu jeder Gelegenheit. Bei Schuhgröße 46 habe ich mit 47 eine Nummer größer bestellt. So sitzen sie perfekt - wie eine zweite Haut. Für einen Barfuss - Schuh dieser Qualität sind 80€ ein unschlagbarer Preis!
