The game works like it is supposed to, however the camera view on the board does not follow the movements of the game pieces very well. Also the Monopoly logo in the middle of the game board is spelled "MONOPOL" (missing the "y"). This makes the game seem less authentic. There is a "board editor" feature that allows a player to make a custom board of his/her own. I could not get the board editor to save or load a custom board. Also the animations are rather slow, making the game last longer than needed. Overall, it is a good representation of the classic Parker Brothers Monopoly game. 4 of 5 stars.

Good old fashioned Monopoly. Better than newer versions!
I had this version of Monopoly but left it in a hotel while on a trip. I called the hotel but it was nowhere to be found. I bought the "Here and Now" version of Monopoly but found it to be less engaging. I missed the funny comments from the pieces in the older version and I really didn't particularly care for the inflated prices in the newer game...I knew the old ones so well. I also like the two views that are available in the older version and the different "rules" that you can pick for the game, such as winning a pot when you land on Free Parking. I was so glad to be able to find this older version still out there and at such a great price. Thank you!!

Don't buy this disc...
Gameboard display on 22" monitor is 2 1/2" sq. Sellers reply ... "Its an older game".
