Obi: Gerbil on a Mission

This book is thoroughly entertaining and my 8 year old grandson (2nd grade) LOVES reading it. He shares daily what Obi is encountering and we are just having such fun with the story! It is delightful reading in that it is written "by" Obi the gerbil and we now have some new "gerbil vocabulary" words we giggle at like "gerbil-mobile!" All of the characters--both animals and people--are so easy to visualize! We will both be very sad when the book ends! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!

The Obi books are the first series of books that have ever caught my som's interest. First books he has willingly picked up and read without being told. I have read them too. We both love all three books.

If you have a gerbil and a good imagination you will love reading about Obi. He has many adventures and a child can easily imagine he/her gerbil doing the same things. Fun reading and great discussions happen while reading.

Well I was in my room when I herd my sister talk about some obi the gerbil and I was sick and tired of it so I read the book I have to say I give it some credit for it. I been dying to read the other series but I have to wait til my little brother finishes that book Thanks Michael Delaney And thanks to my sister

I very much enjoyed this book. one drawback however, is it is on a 4th grade reading level.that is why I gave it four stars instead of five

I read a little bit of the book as a battle book at school but didn't get to finish it and then I found it on my kindle and read it all it was great and teaches you a big lesson

I was pleasantly surprised when this book arrived for my daughter. It was a used book but was in almost new condition. She really enjoyed it.
