Good luck using this junk. It's barely sharp enough to poke through a piece of paper.

I had this on the shelf for a while before I used it. It useless for this purpose. The point will not penetrate the wood. It hurts your hands and the harder you try the more it hurts your hands.

great tool if need something shorter than a pickaroon , I like like it for more heavy wood pieces .. that may require a stronger force than pick a roon can handle ..

Literal garbage.

I am not able to hook and lift a log. It needs to be sharper at the end. Am I to sharpen the hook?

The hook tip is blunt so getting it to dig in at all was difficult, I may see if I can repurpose it to get it to perform a bit better, but yeah underwhelmed

First looked at reviews before purchasing. Only one was negative claiming item did not work as a pulp hook. My immediate reaction was ''this man simply does not know how to use this item''. I was wrong and he was dead on. Have worked in harvesting firewood for over 40 years, and could not get this item to operate. I believe the size of the mouth is too small (from tip to handle). On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this as a minus 5.
