bulbs are good, - however, not always a straight fit into all the sockets i have in a '68 charger, fitted the dome light without modifying - but was real tight to get in, as for the other interior fittings that use them, i had to grind down the ''lip'' or edge of the assembly (effectively the biggest diameter you can feel )to be able to push the bulb into the socket deep enough to lock in, and i also ground down the contact terminals a little bit as well, otherwise the bulbs just wouldn't engage the''bayonet'' fitting - at all, once modified, all is good, and i'm happy with the performance of the unit, - be a lot less ''load'' on old 58 year old wiring, now, so, it's all good,

These are a splendid replacement for the standard, 12v incandescent light bulbs found on older boats and trawlers. Without any problems, we easily installed these in all our overhead light fixtures aboard our 1991 Grand Banks trawler. Totally eliminated our concerns about using too much battery power for lighting at night. Amperage draw is literally a fraction of the required power of an incandescent light.

One of these died after less than an hour total use in a Royal upright vacuum. I’ll see how the other one goes. The second one didn't last either. About fifteen minutes. Do not use these bulbs in a vacuum cleaner!

I bought this bulb because the double contact bayonet base is not polarity sensitive as is standard on normal halogen / incandescent light bulbs. Unfortunately the output at 12V is no way near as bright as other LED bulbs which an LED array. I'm going to keep these for spares and use the brighter ones I bought somewhere else for my navigation lights so I can achieve the mandatory 3 NM visibility.

I had bought these to use as potential navigation lights on my boat but they have a hole manufactured into the top of the bulb that will surely fill with water if left outside... nice light though... I’ll use them inside instead

The photo infers an all around 360 degree bulb, however, it is not, and only shines in two directions, (front and back), depending on how your bayonet holder is positioned, and are not adjustable

Light output a nice colour of light (wavelength), intensity appears about twice as bright as bulb being replaced, current draw is about one-quarter of bulb being replaced (was a #90 bulb).

It turns out these don’t fit the situation I had in mind for them. My fault, not theirs: the full specification is provided, with dimensions in the third picture down on the left – N.B. 15mm diameter, including the lugs of the bayonet; 37mm tall. Subject to working satisfactorily over a long period, there doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with them, so I have no reason not to give them five stars. I have an item that requires these tiny bulbs to sit behind a glass cover. I usually use normal round bulbs, but these work just the same. They are not quite as bright, but nevertheless, they do the job. Recommended.

A weird size but look to be good quality! Okay packaging too. Unfortunately I got these with a certain place in mind to use them but when they arrived were a lot smaller than I thought they were going to be. They look like they're good lights as a first look over but at the moment I have no way to properly test them. If I find a device that they can fit into then I'll edit this review but I can't just leave a poor review for these just because I haven't been able to try, it's just not fair on the product. I am looking forward to finding a place to use them though and will edit if I find something!
