I bought a Sealy Matress in 2012 when I purchased my Queen bed, total price $2400. (Nice Mohagany bed and mattress). The mattress lasted about 2 years before the springs began to sag, and I put up with it until now, getting a memory foam topper and even flipping it upside down even though it wasn't made to. Used boards, pillows anything to keep it from sagging. Thing is, I broke my back in 2009 and am in bed a lot since it is so bad they can't operate. But soft beds are not for me or my back. The Sealy was supposed to be a very firm mattress, but it wasn't. Having lost everything and getting some settlements from disability I bought everything I could with the money I got the bed among them so I needed it to last - cause I can't afford another $1000 mattress. I joined Amazon in 2011 and I love shopping here. Lately, they've been giving me payment options, (5 monthly with no interest) and I bought a computer and other things when they offer it. I was searching for an inexpensive mattress a hybrid because I'm 220 (I quit smoking and gained weight and have lost 30 lbs, and will lose more I hope) and I need something I won't sink into and that I can sit on the edge of. This mattress was offered for $189.00 and I read all the reviews and decided that I would probably get a firm one, which was everything I wanted. So far, it is. It came via UPS and they left it at the back door, didn't ring the bell and he was walking back to his truck before I got outside. The cardboard box was beat up, but not too bad. I got some neighbors to take it upstairs for me and I undid everything and when I cut the plastic wrap it started inflating. The mattress is pristine, no marks, no rips, tears, anything and inflated perfectly. In 8 hours it was it's full height. It is now the next day and been 24 hours and I've set it up with a Sealy memory foam 3" Topper and it is PERFECT. Very firm. Even without the topper I thought it very comfortable, but the topper makes it just great. I bought some deep pocket Queen sheets and they fit a bit tight. So... that's my experience and I'm so far impressed with the quality and the firmness of the mattress. It is comfortable, you can't feel the springs through it unless you press very hard, but get a topper, it'll be perfect and you won't have to pay $1000 for a mattress that will probably be useless in a few years. I noticed the price went to $215 and I would pay that, and even if this only lasts a few years, I'll have gotten my money's worth and will just replace it or get one like it. I will update in six months and a year to tell you how it's going. Update: It is now almost September, 2019 and this mattress is stellar. Has not lost any of its spring, and is still quite firm but comfortable. With the memory foam mattress topper on it (eggshell type) it has been great on my back. I could not be happier with it. Note: I have been flipping it every three months to different sides since I am heavier than my wife. So far, it has held up well. I'll update in the spring, 2020... I notice though that the price went up to $231 but that is still a really good price. I'm thinking of buying another an storing it to use in five years (if this one lasts). I suspect the price will keep going up on these.... Update 2: (May 2020) This mattress is awesome. It hasn't sagged a bit, is still nice and firm and holding up well. I make sure and flip it every couple of months and with the topper, you can even turn it upside down. It was hard to get queen sheets to stay on - so I bought all king sheets and they are better, I see price is now $217 and that's good, don't be afraid to order this mattress!

This is my review for the "Classic Brands Rapture 12" Memory Foam" mattress. My wife and I were looking to upgrade to a King bed. We read reviews until we were blue in the face, it is hard to judge what is a real review, and what people were either paid to say, or just disgruntle when they left the review... We upgraded from a Queen "DynastyMattress Cool Breeze 12-Inch" which is a decent mattress, and very firm... Pros: -Arrived in a timely manner, box was slightly damaged, but plastic bags were still sealed so no damage or dirt on mattress. - Smell was minimal took a few days to completely air out, but not too bad. - Much softer than our old DynastyMattress, at first we thought it was "way to soft" it actually is a memory foam mattress that when you put your hand in it, it retains the imprint a second like all the advertising pictures show... -Cool to sleep on, this product does not state that it is 'cooling', but I sleep just as well as I did on our old cooling gel mattress. -Great support, it took a few nights to get use to the new feel, but we love this mattress. I wake up feeling refreshed, and no back pain. -Product seems well built, and transfers movement well. - I am a bigger guy 6' 1" and 275lbs and this mattress supports me well. Cons: - Not a whole lot to say here, the sides are a bit soft, but I believe any memory foam mattress struggles in this area. Overall we are very happy with this mattress, the extra room a King provides us over a Queen is incredible. Normal King sheets fit perfectly on the mattress, and it works perfectly with the King sized head board we ordered on Amazon as well (Zinus Deluxe Faux Leather Platform Bed) I will update this review if things change, but for the sale price we found on this item, it was a wonderful buy.

I consider buying a mattress a painful experience, sort of like buying a car. I tried shopping locally and it was a horrible experiement. The markups were totally ridiculous and they just wanted to nickel and dime me so I turned to the internet. Coming from a not so good, 100% memory foam mattress I did research, looked at company websites, online reviews and YouTube channels too. After all of that, I finally settled on the Celadon 12" hybrid gel memory foam w/ innerspring mattress and ordered it from Amazon. First of all, the Amazon delivery man was excellent, wearing his protective gear, he helped me get the box into my home. Unboxing the mattress was easy and it expanded perfectly, it was fully ready to go in about an hour. There was ZERO odor, no smell of any kind out of the box or the mattress itself when taken out of its plastic wrapper. I took a nap on it to give it a quick test and it's perfect for me. The top padding breathes and is very comfortable, did I say no odor? The support coils are firm with just the right amount of give so you don't feel like you are fighting with the mattress. It's easy to maunver your sleeping position and it feels equally good resting on my back, side, or stomach. Overall the mattess is very well made with good attention to detail. I had a question about the mattress and I called Classic Brands. They were excellent over the phone and the woman I spoke with reminded me not to tear off the tag because the mattress has a 10 year warranty. This was my first online mattress purchase and I was pretty skeptical, but it turned out to be a breeze. I highly recommend this particular mattress and Amazon.

I was a total skeptic when my husband said he wanted to buy a bed in a box. We needed a new mattress and the thought of spending thousands made my stomach hurt. So we made the purchase based on a friend’s recommendation and very glad we did. The bed is semi-firm (my personal preference would be the firmer the better). When delivered the box is very heavy. It took two people to get it upstairs. Once we started to unwrap, the mattress started to explained-be prepared! We left it to settle for 48 hours. I did “test” the bed about 12 hours after it expanded and was slightly disappointed bc I thought the mattress was too soft. Turns out, it really needs a few days to truly expand. My husband loves it bc it is not “too hot”. Great value! Highly recommend!

Great mattress. I wish I still had it but the 2 years I used it was great

I have been sleeping on this California King hybrid mattress now for about a month. It replaced a really old higher end SeaXX pillow top old school mattress that was waaay overdue for replacement . Pros : nice looking, firm , hybrid coils and foam combo , silent coils when tossing and turning , delivered to your door . Cons : I am an average guy 6 ft 2 inch 190 lbs . I have found that I get uncomfortable pressure points on my hips when briefly sleeping on my side as i am primarily a back sleeper. Its FIRM but I really like it . To soften it up I bought a $100 SxL brand latex topper here on Amazon and problem solved. So all in I have $500 on this California King that I really like. I have noticed no sagging so far at one month . I sleep cooler as this mattress' foam doesnt envelope you and make you hot . It sleeps cooler than my old sealXX pillow top did . I will update as time goes on .

This is, without a doubt, the very best memory foam mattress I have ever owned, and I have had 4 now. It is firm, without being hard, but not soft either. Some of the others were so soft when you laid on them, you quite literally sank in. I have tried a 10 inch with a previous purchase thinking it would be about the same as my 12 " mattresses were. They are not. Or maybe they are, if you are a smaller body frame. I am large framed, over weight. Not obese, just over weight. This is the first Classic Brands I have tried. It is wonderful. Now the downside..... This mattress is so good, I just got on line to buy another, only to find the price has increased from $229.00 to 478.64, for the queen size. That is a SIGNIFICANT price increase for only a months time. This purchase may not happen, no matter how great the mattress is. But if you have the extra cash lying around..this is the mattress to get. EDIT...Well, I went ahead and got cheap and bought a 12" Signature Sleep Memory Foam full sized mattress, and can now safely say I threw $300.00 right out the window. It is barely "sleepable". It is one of the biggest wastes of money I have ever spent. I have no idea what to do with the mattress, since I really don't want to make my guests suffer with it either. I hate that this mattress increased as much as it did as quickly as it did, but if I had it to do over, I'd get another Classic Brand. Learn from this.

This is a great mattress when it comes to quality. But, it's NOT comfortable. It is WAY TO FIRM. So, if you want an incredibly firm mattress, then this is the one for you. After the first night of sleeping on it, I had HORRIBLE back pain...I thought I just slept wrong. But, after a couple weeks, the pain never went away and just got worse, so I thought it must be the mattress. I just ordered a new mattress which I absolutely LOVE (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QF5FZWY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) - and after just one night of sleeping on it, my back feels AMAZING! So, I know that this mattress was the cause of my back pain. Therefore, I would avoid this one, and opt for a different one, unless you want to feel as though you are sleeping on a rock.
