Can it be used for gas storage

Gasoline containers have strict guidelines mandated by the EPA. This tank would not meet the guidelines for gasoline storage and it has not been test for that purpose.

Can you install by standingthe tank up

We carry it around in the back of our truck and hook it up to camper by water hose and pump as needed. Not sure where you are installing it

With the drain being on the side of the tank, will all of the water drain out? It looks like some would remain pooled at the bottom?

If there is any that can’t reach the drain, I ouck it up a little to get it all out. So, yes. Some does pool. Not much though.

What glue to use to add my own hose connection?

We use a pipe and hose clamp because we don’t know what type of plastic it is.
