WETCAT Turkish Beach Towel Oversized (38"x71") 100% Turkish Cotton, Made in Turkey - Sand Free, Extra Large, Ultra Soft, Quick Drying, Compact & Lightweight for Travel - Aqua

These towels work very well as BEACH towels- they are very flat (not plush) with a thick weave (so don't feel thin in the usual sense), which means they fold up quite small and are light (about 11 ounces). They are fairly large in area and are great for laying on the sand- the sand shakes right off when you are done. They will get you about 80% dry without a lot of effort, which for a bath towel might be disappointing, but at the beach works. The towels also dry out after use quite quickly- tried this towel on a recent boat trip, and while the more plush towels were always a bit damp and smelling funky after a couple of days, the WETCAT Turkish beach towel smiled fresh for the entire 8 day trip. I have also tried synthetic towels (the highly rated ones) but they don't do a better job and stick on your skin when trying to dry off- just not a great experience. After the boat trip, I bought 7 more in different colors, that look very much like the images- was looking for decent beach towels that are lightweight (laundry by hand or small machine on the boat), and these are far better than any others I tested. I wish they came in beach patterns, but the colors are fun- very little color running on the first wash (I used the color capture washing sheets, with just very faint color captured). The sides are finished but not hemmed in a traditional fashion, so will need to see how they hold up, but so far they are fantastic. Do seem a little pricey for a beach towel, but Turkish cotton so probably a fair deal, and certainly better than those synthetic camp/backpacking towels.

I was skeptical, but now I love them and want every color. I ordered 5 different colors; Fuchsia, Dark Coral, Denim Blue, Teal and Dark Grey. All were beautiful. They absorb water just as well as a traditional towel, they are soft, sand resistant and dry fairly fast. I used them to shower with first and they dried me off well. Then I took them to the beach. They dried my skin and stopped the drip on my swimsuit. When dry the sand falls right off, when wet I had to shake it hard several times for 98% of the sand to come off. They dried rather quickly when in the sun. They did not prevent my seats from getting damp when leaving the beach, so I'll probably keep a traditional beach towel in the car for when we leave. But over all these were great. So much more room in my beach bag, not heavy or bulky and look nice. And the best part, no more sandy towels in my car and laundry.

Cute and big. Perfect to sit on at the beach or park. I don’t love using them for drying off after a swim bc they take FOREVER to air dry. But if you’re in the want something cute and soft you can wear as a wrap or use as a blanket, these are great. Lightweight and way to pack for travel.

They are big, soft, so lightweight but at the same time, they are very absorbent and then they dry so quick. It’s unbelievable how quick these towels dry. Definitely recommend purchasing.

These Turkish beach towels are fantastic. They’re slightly larger and lightweight and great at the beach. The sand comes right off doesn’t stick to it even when wet and it dries you off quick and the towel dries quickly too! They wash up beautifully, no lint and no pilling. I’ll be adding more of these towels to my beach bag!! maybe even my linen closet!

I love WETCAT towels: this is my eighth one! They wrap around me, dry quickly, no shrinkage and I don't mind the fringe! Also great color selection. Use them at the beach, pool, and around the house. Also used as a shawl when the weather was chilly. Best towel you can buy!

Esta toalla es todo lo que menciona su descripción: pre-lavada, suave, ligera, compacta al doblarla y de secado rápido. Llegó antes de la fecha prevista por Amazon y de verdad, estoy encantada con la toalla. Sí se le pega la arena, si ésta está mojada...son leyes de física, no magia jajaja Pero la arena seca sí se quita muy fácilmente. Compré 4 colores distintos y ¡todos son hermosos! De verdad que dan ganas de ir a la playa solamente para usarlas jejejeje

The material is really soft and absorbent. I had bought a Turkish towel previously that is nice but not the quality this has. I totally recommend.

.....light, thin, sand resistance is a good thing, easily go anywhere as not a big fluffy bath towel

No es la toalla más absorbente pero después de entender que el secado es por palmadas y toques con la tela varias veces; pues cumple su función. No la recomiendo para el cabello. No las volvería a comprar.
