LanikaiUC-S Hardshell Soprano Ukulele Case

Case is sturdy and I feel very confident about traveling and flying with it (as a carry on.) It is much too roomy inside for the body of my Kala 15s Soprano Ukulele so I'll be getting some sort of foam or to add more around the inside of the space for the body. And may end up buying a bigger uke (concert or tenor) so I could use the case with one of them. Still I think this case is going to hold up well and protect my uke well.

We own a LU21-P Lanikai pineapple uke, a great little instrument, and needed a protective case to take it traveling. (A gig bag would've fit, but offers zero crush protection.) Alas, there doesn't seem to be ANY case out there that fits a pineapple uke---they're all made for guitar shapes. So we MacGyvered this one. Ten minutes, a sharp knife, and some adhesive is all you need. We pried open the glued-down fabric seams along the guitar-waist indents, sliced off the offending styrofoam, and glued the fabric back in place with E9000 adhesive. Simple, and now it fits!

My 6 year old son is really doing well with his lessons, however he doesn't seem to grasp that his Ukulele is fragile! This case is well made and has been exactly what we needed for him.Just this week he dropped the whole thing (on accident) from about 2-3 feet! I told him to be careful and he responded "Dad, don't worry, this case is super strong and it won't break while its in there." Now, I agree with him, but thats no reason to be wreckless!I would recommend for anyone. Make sure you get the right size for your Uke. We love ours as it has certainly saved us!

It feels a little cheap, but it fits my Kala KA15S Mahogany Soprano Ukelele perfectly. My Snark tuner also fits in the accessory case with no problems. I have no doubt my uke will rest securely in the case, but I wouldn't trust the case as far as I could throw it when it comes to impact protection. We shall see.

I was looking for a new case to replace my old hard case that is warping. This case fits my Kamaka soprano ukulele pretty good. It does move around a little while inside, but I don't take it out of the house so I'm using it more for protection.

I ordered this case as a birthday gift for my son based on the description and positive reviews. The case I received has NO lidded inner compartment, NO internal straps for securing the Ukulele and NO shoulder strap. It seems this case has been changed. Does anyone know where I can get a good case in 7 days? This is the first time I have been disappointed with an Amazon purchase.Update:I contacted Austin Bazaar by email about this case and received a very prompt and courteous reply stating that they contacted the manufacturer and that this case design was recently changed. The customer service rep apologized that the description and pictures I had seen no longer matched the case. He sent me a link to a Kala bag also sold by them on Amazon. I will be contacting Amazon tomorrow to return this case.

Just adding my 3 cents to the mix - no one explicitly has said that this fits the Hamano H-100 selling here on Amazon - it does - and quite swimmingly - I'm happy with it, but wish it were a little cheaper - perhaps $24.99 and below.

The name of the case threw me off. its not a hard plastic case like i had thought, its high density foam. which is fine. if it didnt keep a humidity percentage of 45%, on the inside, with a humidifier inside, i would have returned it. i suggest changeing the name to high density foam soprano ukulele case.
