Ariete 2869/05 Retro Style Cordless Jug Kettle, Blue, 1.7 litres

Bought to match my coffee maker. It's a nice looking kettle & the water pours without splashing. Fast boiling & not too noisy. Iam very pleased with it

Bought the kettle after reading reviews on similar types. Overall I love it! It is a little slow to boil and not especially quiet but the handle is positioned and shaped very well. Very accurate spout too- absolutely no dribbling. It looks lovely and is exactly what I wanted so I’m very pleased and intend to get the matching toaster

I just love this kettle! It’s not as fast boil as my old kettle but it’s fast enough. I bought this with the matching four slot toaster. They both look great together & so vintage which is what I wanted. Definitely worth the money Broke before the 12mth mark. Turns itself on to boil when it’s finished boiling, very dangerous, in the bin it went!

This is lovely. It looks small, but it actually holds the same as my last kettle which looks bigger. So don't be put off . It's bigger than it looks. Boils quickly and that's all I ask for. A good quality kettle with a lovely retro look.

Very happy with this kettle. Perfect colour for me. Comfortable handle, easy to pour, nice and light. Not the quietest of kettles but not outrageously noisy. Doesn't bother me.

This is my second ariete kettle in 18 months. i bought the second one purely as it matches my existing toaster which still works, other than that i would have gone with a different brand. The reason is that it is so noisy and takes ages to boil just like the previous one which started to leak and the silver band round the kettle started to peel away making it look awful. I will put up with it because i do love the colour and the style , it looks great but when the toaster goes on the blink i will be looking for a quieter, fast boil type!

Arrived quickly. Like the style, colour & shape of the kettle. However.. after using the Arite kettle for one month, the on/off switch disintegrated. The switch holds a small light which also disintegrated. The kettle was shoddy and cheaply made. When using the kettle we noticed that it was very noisy when reaching boiling point. The switch had melted off and was quite dangerous.

The kettle doesn’t only look nice but it’s a very good kettle

I love the whimsy of the kettle. The retro look is what drew me in. I use it through out the day for water to make tea and the fun look works for the “appliance “ to sit out. It heats the water well and is easy to use.
