Hard and uneatable
Even after cooking for over 3 hours these yellow split peas are still not soft enough to eat. Very disappointed and a complete waste of money.

Do not buy. So hard and never soften. Used to good. These are not.

It wouldn’t cook. Even after 3h it was really hard and awful. It strongly suggests that it was old or over-dried.

Unusable.
After an overnight soak, boiling for 6 hours and at full pressure in the pressure cooker for 30 minutes these dried peas were still hard and crunchy. The packet suggests just cooking for 2 hours without any prior soaking. I put them out in the compost.

Old product, don't buy
I've been trying to cook these for 5hrs and they are still hard (even after soaking overnight). I feel like I've been duped. Will never buy again and don't reccomend.

Not sure of the freshness of these ? After an hour of boiling they were still hard and ended up in the bin 😨
