I will never buy again, never.

i bought these before, when they were reasonably priced at UNDER 2 dollars a can. and they are DELICIOUS, no doubt about that. but 6 dollars for a can of refried beans is beyond outrageous, and i hope this is not what our economy is coming to. okay, here's the secret......buy a reasonably priced brand of refried beans. put them in a pot on the stove. add a little oil or lard if you like--you don't have to--a handful of shredded cheese, and A PACKET OF TACO BELL TACO SEASONING. heat, stirring, until hot and cheese is melted. they taste just like real taco bell refried beans, but not insanely expensive

Very good but too expensive.
