I think they should sell foam plugs you can use to block bad smells. Maybe an aluminum hat to block intrusive thoughts.

Living where it gets really cold, if a freezer gets too cold it can lock up. Of course then you do not need a freezer until it warms up. However lockup can damage the compressor.

How is this different from a microwave oven? Couldn't I put my wifi router in a microwave oven?

You could but in order for the router to work properly, you need to remove the signal safety plate. There is a little metal plate, usually on the side of the microwave, removing that plate and threading the wire through it will allow the wifi to work, yet still block nearly all other signals and radiation. The downside here is if you do try to cook food in the microwave without the safety plate it will most likely catch on fire or blow up, depending on the wattage.
