My girlfriend has a 2016 ILX, she needed a mounted that could fit in the vent to the right of the steering wheel. The problem is the wheel and stalk sit close to the vent making it difficult to use other mounts (have tried). Went out in a whim and got this. I was surprised that this worked perfectly for her iPhone 12 Pro Max, the magnet is pretty strong and sits close to the vent out of the way of the steering stalk. The vehicle is also lowered and rides STIFF, so going over bumps has yet to make the phone fall. Another perk with this style mount is that it can be transferred to another vehicle easily. Would highly recommend!

This little gizmo is just what I needed! A couple of years ago, my son gave me one of those phone holders with the suction cup that mounted to a window. It was okay, but the positioning was never exactly what I wanted and obviously never the same since I couldn't leave it stuck to the window when I left the car. Some idiot would have broken my window for it. But this little gadget is isn't even noticeable in the car and my phone sticks to it like glue. I have a navigation in my car but I like Google and Wayz better, so I always use those. The voice syncs with the audio but the map I'm looking at is just a regular car map. I've even tried using both the car navigation (which is annoying to set up) and the phone navigator, but they inevitably take different routes and then talk over each other. Now I can glance at my phone to I'll know which way I'm heading in the next 1/2 mile or so without looking down or fumbling with it in the console. The only "downside" is that I now have to create a new habit to retrieve it from the magnet because today I left it in the car while I ran in the store. Also, it comes with two stick on metal plates that you can attach to your phone case if the case impedes the magnetic force. I put one on the outside of my case because I have a thick, plastic case that stores my driver's license and a credit card so it didn't have enough pull. Super handy and a great price. I spent a lot of time looking for a magnetic phone holder for my new iPhone 12 that would work with the MagSafe magnet on the phone. I actually purchased one other product, but the magnet wasn’t strong enough to hold the phone so I returned it. This vent mount works perfectly. It holds the phone despite bumps in the road, etc. The included magnets aren’t necessary since there is a magnet in the phone already. I have a thin case on my phone and the magnet works through the case. Also, the mount connection to the vent works great, much better and more stable than I expected. I have an Audi A5 and it holds onto the vent perfectly. Plus very simple and low profile so it doesn’t look bad. Very happy with this product.

I am a huge fan of the MagicMount. I have a swivel dash mount of these in both my car and my wife’s car and absolutely love them. Words cannot do enough justice to share just how great the MagicMount is compared to all other types of mounts (and I’ve tried a TON of them)! The magnet is extremely strong as long as you don’t have too thick of a case (if you’re doing what I am and sliding the metal piece inside the case, between the phone and the case... I use an Incipio dual protection case) or you affix the metal to the outside of your case. I thought for sure that after the first bump I’d be fishing my phone off the floor, but I’ve driven down washboard roads and my iPhone 8 doesn’t budge. I especially love that there is no messing around... it’s a simple grab and go if getting out of the car or slap and go if you are getting in. You can freely rotate your phone, in case you feel like you need or want landscape mode or some other angle. Specifically speaking about this particular vent mount, I wanted to get a portable option for loaner vehicles (my car has been in the shop... a lot!) or rental cars when out of town or on vacation. I am oh so glad I got this because it was very frustrating not being in my car and not having a good place to prop or mount the phone so I could see Waze or have it generally at hand. I don’t think it is hyperbole to say that this vent mount is a godsend. Such a little thing, but it saves me so much frustration when not in my own car. Plus, I’ve actually found a use for it in my car to help stabilize a propped up iPad (note: it can’t fully hold the weight of an iPad, but an iPad resting on the middle of the dash and leaning up against this mount is a little bit of a different story). So, I’m getting more use out of this extra mount than I actually intended, which is even better. If you don’t want to have a permanent mount stuck to your car, don’t trust a cup holder mount or suction mount, and don’t care for the unsightly and goofy window mounts, definitely get this simple and super useful vent mount.

Perfect. Love everything about it.. this thing clings to the vent like a champ.. its not falling off. And when you pull the phone off the mount, it won't take the mount with it off the vent, the mount stays firmly planted on the vent. I believe this will work with any size vent, big or small. It came with 2 sticker magnets, one large and one small, so you can use it for 2 different devices. I used just the small magnet and placed it on the inside of my case, did not even have to peel the sticker to stick it to the inside or outside of my case. It will easily hold large phones with cases, mine is a moto G with a 5.5 inch screen, plus otterbox-like case, and the scosche vent mount holds it firm, using the smaller of the 2 magnets provided on the inside of the case. Its the perfect mount, i'm very impressed that just using the smaller of the 2 magnets, on the inside of the case, holds the phone so firmly to the car. The other larger magnet that was included I can use for my wifes phone if we want, or GPS, or put it in a friends phone case just to show others how cool it is. Also this will be perfect for travel, when I need a GPS in a rental car I can just bring this and use my phone as the GPS. The only minor downside, is that the angle is slightly tilted upwards and theres no way to change that, but for a super portable, near perfect car mount, I am a happy camper. I am glad I bought this and not a bigger, clankier CD-mount that I was considering.

This is a very sturdy phone attachment for your car vent - no fiddling or having to adjust grips. It holds my phone in place securely and is perfectly positioned into the vent just to the right of my steering wheel. The magnet is very strong and holds my phone with no slipping. It arrived on time and in perfect condition.
