Tramontina Bestow Enameled Cast Iron 5.5-Qt Round Dutch Oven Pot with Lid

I’m seriously obsessed with this Tramontina enameled cast iron Dutch oven! It’s beautiful, sturdy, and works like a dream. The color is absolutely stunning in person — it looks so nice sitting on my stove even when I’m not using it. Cooking with it has been amazing. It heats evenly, retains heat really well, and makes everything from soups to braised meats come out so tender and flavorful. Plus, cleanup is a breeze — the enamel coating really helps keep food from sticking, and it wipes clean easily with a little soap and water. It feels super high-quality without the crazy high price tag you’d expect from other brands. Honestly, it’s become my go-to pot for just about everything. If you’re thinking about it, just get it — it’s a kitchen game-changer!

Wife always wanted a dutch oven. First purchased a m------, the lid rocked slightly , so it was returned. She ordered this model and very pleased with brand new condition and quality of pot. Used a couple times and washed up nicely. Looks pretty sitting on the stove when not in use.

I purchased 3 of these when they were on sale Dec 2022 for 40 bucks a piece. Came very well packaged. I am obsessed with this color and hope they add more sizes! For the price this is an amazing value. Will it be heirloom quality? No. Buy a $400 Staub if that's what your after. I have a 5 year old one that's still in good condition. A few chips around the edge but still performs beautifully. Doesn't cook or perform any different than my Staubs do. I do prefer the flat top design of Staub, but love the Tramontina price!

I own a Staub 7 quart in Grenadine. But the Staub is better for a large roast or whole chicken and a little too large for baking bread, spaghetti sauce, chili, etc. I wanted a smaller 4 to 5.5 quart size but I didn't want to spend $300 - $400 on another Staub. However I do really love the rich "Grenadine" color offered by Staub. So, I was watching ATK (America's Test Kitchen) and they reviewed dutch ovens and presented the lower cost Tramontina as a reasonably priced alternative to their top choice (Le Cruset). OMG!!!! I found this Tramontina on Amazon for a fraction of the cost of LeCruset or Staub and the color is almost identical to Staub's "Grenadine". The top fits perfectly, the interior is a light color which translates to better cooking results, and you can see the bottom to check for burning or doneness, the handles are large enough to get a good grip on the pot when moving it, and the heat retention is exactly what you would expect from a dutch oven. It was expertly packed and arrived in perfect comdition. Also, the size is a perfect all-around size. Wow! I made a great purchase!

Was coveting Le Creuset but didn’t want to pay the price. Research yielded this brand. I’m pleased with it.

I’ve been waiting to purchase a Le Creuset set for years, but the price is just to tough to swallow. After giving up on waiting to find something used or some miraculous sale, I decided that I needed to branch out. Tramontina products have done well in my kitchen, I love their oven safe pro nonstick pans. So, I decided to give them a shot. To find an enameled cast iron dutch oven for under 80 bucks, even used, can be tough. So this purchase should be a no brainer if you’re thinking about it. I purchased the Latte colored option. The pot’s color was similar enough to the picture on Amazon. I don’t expect the color to age well, but that was my choice. There is a minor defect on the the outside of the pan where it looks like a small bit of metal under the enamel was sheared off, but it’s just cosmetic. There are also a couple of minor imperfections in the enamel where it looks like the remnants of a bubble ring left a spot that isn’t the same thickness as the rest of the enamel. I don’t know if that is a matter of quality control or something that simply can’t be avoided. Looking forward to using this more. Will update this review if anything noticeable changes over time 4.5/5

Very heavy but you should already know that. Cooks very easy and clean up is very easy, allow pot to cool all the way before trying to clean.

Absolutely love these. Purchased two, and they have become my go to pans. Great quality, clean up super easy and look great.

I love it. Delivered in perfect condition and safe packaging. Had a couple of Tramontina dutch ovens before. And its very good quality fot its price. Great heat distribution, nice quality. great for stews and baking. And easy to clean (hand wash!) Just like any similar dutch oven take good care of it and it will take good care of your food.

The enamel under the cover chipped from light use and is now rusting. The enamel coating is its only stellar feature and it has failed.

My best Cookware ever. Too beautiful.
