Merrell Unisex Adult Men's and Women's Wool Everyday Hiking Crew Socks - 3 & 6 Pairs - Cushioned Moisture Wicking

Socks are tricky for me, I have sensory issues due to my ADHD/Autism so I need soft, breathable socks but I also need them to keep my feet warm and provide some cushioning between my feet and work boots. It’s a hard line to straddle. Wool is best for warmth and moisture-wicking but often wool or wool blends are extremely scratchy and abrasive to my sensitivities. Cotton just falls apart after short periods due to how active my job is. This are some of the best socks I’ve found, full stop. They’re affordable, plush, and very durable in my situation. They give enough cushion on my pressure points from my boots (heels and upper ridge) so there’s no blistering or rubbing either with a new pair of boots or just from long days in shoes, they keep my feet warm when I’m stuck in coolers at work for 3+ hours at a time, and they’re not restricting or too snug around my ankles or toes. I can even wear them to sleep on cold nights without yanking them off in my sleep. Durability is solid, for me at least. They’ve gotten wet, muddy, absconded with via cats, and other manners of abuse that necessitate heavy cleaning and held up well. No pilling or thinning of the fabric to my eyes as of yet. I wear a US Women’s 9 shoe and bought the S/M size and they fit me perfectly.

Merrell footwear has been a good to for me since the GWOT (Global War on Terror). These socks so far have held up and I enjoy the feel and comfort they give. Better than standard issue!

Easy to put on, warm, comfortable, stay put.

Very well made sock... Unfortunately for me they were just slightly too big and the heel would not stay in place. I would be using these socks for hiking so they cannot bunch or I run the risk of blisters. Cushioning was plush without being too much ... Wish they had fit as they are a solid sock.

High quality socks for affordable price. Soft and comfortable. I like all the colors. Keeps my feet dry. Lasts a pretty long time. Only socks I wear now.

Easily my favorite socks. They are so cushiony and this feeling lasts for several months even after heavy usage and washes. They are good for all year around. I’m in Texas and they aren’t too hot in the summer yet keeps my feet warm in the winters.

I get these socks to absorb... well foot sweat. Let's just be real. I live in the South so it's an issue. I have had a few sets of these for months. They have held up perfectly well over many, many washes and still work great and look great. The colors have not faded nor run. My review of absorbency is mixed. I really don't know if they absorb well. I *think* they do but I have done no testing. They are also still tight after months of washes, which I also think is good. (E.g., they have not stretched at all and have retained elasticity). I also don't know how much actual real wool is in these. It could be fake news. But, they hold up and feel good to wear. Eventually I plan to replace all my white standard ankle socks with these.

These socks are great. They do a great job of keeping my feet warm and dry. They are a little bit too big for my size 7 foot but not too big that I can't wear them.

They go well with my merell moan 3 gtx, they are water resistant and keep your feet warm. They are soft and decent pair of socks. Decent everyday thick.

Great fit, very comfortable, feel quality. I’ve had many pairs of Merrell socks, they’re good. I will say, however, that the three pairs of socks are all much darker than the pictures here show. I probably wouldn’t have bought them if I’d seen them ‘in the flesh’, but I’ll keep them now that they’re here…
