Propper Men's Lightweight Tactical Vest

Excellent quality garment. Plentiful, and well thought out pockets. It’s really comfortable and holds a lot of gear. If you can catch it on sale this is a real bargain

I got this vest for use as a cover garment in IDPA matches. I had tried just using a shirt and using another cheaper vest but they just didn't work for me. This best is just heavy and stiff enough that I can brush it aside but still lightweight enough that I barely notice it on me. Tons of pockets for stashing magazines or whatever. I got the same size as my t-shirts and the fit is perfect. Completely covers the holster without any excess fabric all over the place. Highly recommended.

I bought this to use as a utility vest at work, and while I look like I work for "Mercenary Logistics" (I wear BDU pants as well, a co-worker said I look like a range instructor, haha) I have pockets and storage for just about anything I need to have on me. I was surprised at the lack of options for a standard work vest but this one met all my needs as most tactical gear does (I look like I live at the firing range but it's really just OCD). I bought a size Small and it fits great (5'7", 130 lbs.), it's pretty well made but after a couple of washes I'm seeing a few loose threads (Delicate/Cold, Dryer on Low). It's far from falling apart or poorly made, I have the same issue with my BDU pants as well (Also Proper and Truspec) but for the money I'd like to see a little more rugged stitching. It isn't crazy expensive but it isn't cheap either. Other than that I'm really happy with it and will order another as a backup. The pocket layout is perfect for me and the pen holder is very useful and works great for my Streamlight Microstream too (Perfect for finding lost screws and washers). It's not too hot or cold and very comfortable overall, would recommend for both the range and the warehouse.

Better than the description and pictures in the ad. Only problem was the size description. The ad displayed a gentleman that is supposed to be 5' 11" and 185 lbs wearing a medium. I am 5' 8" at 178 lbs and wear XL T-shirts and worried about an XL vest being too BIG. The XL fits perfect. I might be able to squeeze into a large but would not be able to put anything in any of the many pockets without showing the world what I have in them. This vest is well worth the money. With a 36" waist and a 45" chest, I dont think I could even get a medium on, let alone be able to reach into an inside pocket wearing a large very easily.

It has just the right number of pockets. Includes a built in concealed carry pocket and adjustable straps. Perfect weight. After I received it I was so impressed I also ordered the jacket in Black. I ordered 1 size larger (XL) so it can be worn over a sweatshirt or medium weight jacket. Additionally, since I switch between IWB and OWB holsters, this will alway give me the concealment I desire.

Looking for a great tactical vest? This is it. Solid materials, good workmanship. This was purchased to use at a non- profit rifle clinic event. Does everything you would want, and plenty of room to attach your Rifleman, and other patches.

FYI I'm 5' 10" 160 and I ordered a medium that fit perfectly. This is definitely worth the money. Stitching is good and the material is pretty water responding tough. Lots of pockets. Just love it.

Product came on time and in excellent condition. This vest holds just about anything and comfortably . Great vest for craftsmen or first responders.

I haven't been a fan of Propper's products but I thought I'd give this a try... I love it. The lower interior pockets not only zip closed but have soft/loop velcro allowing the attachment of items to stay inplace and be more secured. Not a fan of the MOLLE loops aside from using to hang sunglasses and the top open pocket should have a flap to secure items inside. Aside from those drawbacks it's a solid yet comfy addition to carry stuff without a bag with little comparative weight or awkwardness: my video gear, spare phone charger, cables, and more easily accompany me on my adventures. Bought the 3xl version and wear it over my jacket or tighten it up over my shirt - fits great both ways.

I wanted a vest for photography that supported carrying peripherals at events. This vest looks smart while having ample pocket room for all that I need to carry with my cameras. A perfect solution for my needs.

Good quality, nice stitching, got it for ~50$. Perfect for carrying camera equipment or fishing bait. XL for a beefy 6’2 fits perfect over a regular sweatshirt.
