A must have spare to support an excellent filter.
Having purchased the 1000EF filter some years ago, which has proved to be an excellent purchase. This time last year following cleaning the filter, re-fitting the head assy, and refilling with tank water, it developed a leak. which following several re-fits and fillings was coming from a head o-ring failure. Tried to grab a fast replacement APS o-ring from everywhere, I was advised by APS that they were not currently available with no confirmed available dely date. My only option was to purchase thro Amazon a complete replacement head, which arrived the next day with the O-ring fitted. Replaced the head and we had our pump back up and working as usual, so all came good. I did complain to APS that such an important replacement part MUST always be available, but it was due to a mfg issue that they were not available.So, whilst the other head is functioning perfectly, because the filter itself is a great performer, to get a replacement O-ring for us is a must have. Perfect! EF1 Replacement Filter seal
Bought this for my All Pond Solutions EF1 filter which after 18months has become problematic to seal.Removed old seal and replaced with this.Perfect fit and sealed first time with no issues. Took 4 days to arrive so ill probably purchase a spare in the near future should this become a problem again - seems to be a common issue with these pumps by all accounts (which you can understand its a round seal sitting on a flat surface - bound to go mishapen & not seal over time)

Filter rings
This item i bought to fix a leak on my filter but i wondered if i should have bought the other one as well as this one has not worked and filter is still leaking .I would be most grateful if you have any suggestions for us please . Thanking you Yours sincerely Chris Stubbs
