Works great
It came with no installation instructions but when I emailed them they sent full instructions immediately. This is a good product. It has a very good real-time picture. The only drawback is glare in bright sunlight. It doesn't effect playback.I'm glad I bought it.

Excellent Upgrade From My 4 Year Old Camera
The media could not be loaded. I have had a Forward view Dashcam on my car for almost four years now. When the newer Dashcams became available, I held off buying one for a while. I bought this one on a lightning deal for a great pricePros....and ConsNight Vision - This is welcome improvement from my previous camera. There are times I swipe to the Forward camera when driving down a dark country road, or city road. Using the video display in Night Vision I see guys wearing dark clothes with dark hoodies, animals, and cops hiding in the high grass on the side of the road trying to catch speeders(not me). The full screen video display in Night Vision is VERY HELPFUL.Parking Monitor - I work at a university and park my car in a large parking lot. A lot of cars get damaged, and most time they don't know who hit the car. The Parking Monitor is very sensitive and even a door ding will set it off and record video to a Lock file.Collision Detection - This is a very nice feature. However...I live in a city with a LOT of Pot Holes. The Pot Holes create Lock files on the Dashcam. When you get too many Lock files, you will get a message that you need to format the SD card. So....even on the lowest setting, the Collision Detection creates too many Lock files. So I turned this feature off. If I have an accident, I will pull the SD card and get the video file.On Screen Display and Settings - This camera has ONLY one button on it, and that is the Power Button on the bottom. All the settings are Touch Screen like on a cell phone. This is a welcome improvement from my last Dashcam that had five buttons on the bottom. Navigating through the settings is very easy now with the touch screen.Video Display is Annoying ON, during Daylight Hours - The full video display is GREAT at night using the Night Vision. However in the Daytime I press the Power Button for One Second, and that shows only the Time/Date and travel icon on the left, this way you can use ONLY the mirror. Or you can press the Power Button twice, that will leave you only the mirror, and no video display. Either way it is STILL recording.SF Card, what is a SF card ? - The manual, and the details on Amazon advise to get a SF card. I am sure these are Chinese instructions. If you Google an SF card, it is just a High Speed Micro SD card. SF card is an old name for High Speed Micro SD card.Installation - Installation was a breeze, especially since I installed a Dashcam in the past. I thought it would be a huge task running the rear wire thru the headliner to the back of the car. However, it took me all of five minutes. The nice little crevice tool that was included was very helpful. The instructions advise to install the rear camera on the bumper. Doing this, Every time it rains, you see nothing but water on the rear camera lens. I later installed my rear camera on the inside of the back window(see video). I did have to remove the two screws from the mounting bracket, and turn the camera upside down, if I didn't, my rear video would be upside down.Retrieving Video Files - The Files are MOV files, which is GREAT on my Mac. Your file format on the Micro SD card look like this below.FILE191201-153617-000418F.MOV This means it was recorded 12/1/19 - FILE191201, at 3:36pm - 153617, and the last part of the file format is file number, and F at the end is for Forward, the Rear camera will have an R. I have my camera setup to record in Five Minute files, after that it creates a new file. On the Micro SD card you will see three folders on your computer, Lock, Picture, and Video. In the Video folder there is a F and R folder, for Forward and Rear recorded videos.Word Of Caution - driving at night using the Night Vision with the video display on your rear view mirror can be misleading. It is NOT the same as looking in your rear view mirror. A car that is two car lengths behind you LOOKS LIKE IT IS FAR BEHIND YOU, HOWEVER ITS NOT. I always check my drivers side rear view mirror for comparison. One benefit of the video display is that it does eliminate blind spots since the rear camera has a wide angle lens.

Save your money!
Worked well for the first 6-8 months then started having issues with unit keeping settings while powered off. Internal battery went at 10 months. Year one, unit still functioned but not like when it was first purchased. 14 months, touchscreen started failing. 18 months, left side of touchscreen no longer registers when menu/settings button is selected. This effectively kills the unit and puts it in a view only mode, didn’t even last 2 years.I’ve been making due using it as a overpriced back up cam, lesson learned. On the hunt for a better quality unit!

Good quality
Since i have had this mirror installed it became easier for me to reverse at night. I was having difficulty because of the tinted windows. The camera quality is great both front and back cameras. The touch screen works well and playback video and audio is awesome. I would definitely recommend this to anyone

Should NOT be a rear-view mirror replacement
Is the concept nifty? yes. Does it widen your view backwards? Yes. But it should be an addition that is adjacent to a standard mirror. The camera is decent quality, but it's just not the same as looking into a mirror. Its choppy with probably way less than 30FPS, and the washout from others' headlights at night is just plain dangerous. Then there's the "Night Mode," which has to be activated and deactivated manually, which requires stopping the recording first, then tapping through several submenus. The G-sensor is way too sensitive, even at its lowest setting, which constantly registers pot-holes as impacts, which triggers locking of the file, which fills up the tiny 32gb card VERY fast. And there's no warning that it's full either. in sum, they tried to do too much, and ended up falling short in a LOT of places as a result. I would return it, but the effort I put into the installation was far too great to undo it all now...

Not Great...
Replacing your review mirror with a camera is not a great idea. It's much more difficult to use when you are driving on the road. Camera would randomly glitch and cut out. Had to restart the camera to get it to work again. Also, you can't really see the reflection well when the power is turned off and you are trying to use it as just a mirror. It was great for backing up and the dash cam worked well. The reason for the low review is because the plugin to the power broke when I was unplugging it one day for no reason. I tried to back up my truck to my trailer and ended up crushing the camera since it wasn't on. I have purchase a new dash cam/reverse camera that doesn't cover my mirror.

Works good ..memory card fills very quick
Easy to setup and cam clarity is good. Love wide angle camera, it covers almost 360. Lane assistance is not working. I didn't see either seller mentioned in ad, so not an issue.
