Does this unit comes with the rough plumbing hardware?? any body knows about it??

Hello, There is no rough for this. You need a 1/2" drop-ear ell in the appropriate spot.

I got this in white box. The packaging inside looks weird. The installation instructions are also photocopied. Anyone has any similar experience?

Yes, but the fixture still looks and feels legit. I haven't had the chance to install and test for leaks, but it feels and looks like the quality of other Hansgrohe products I have purchased.

Our contractor just installed this and its leaking from two spots. Anyone else have this issue?

What is the diameter of the pipe that screws into 1/2" npt (or the diameter of the escutcheon opening)? i need to inset the filler into the wall.

The fixture has a female npt. The outer diameter is 33.75mm. The estechon is two pieces, and internal piece that screws to the wall and set screws to the OD of the fixture and a cosmetic outer ring that set screws to the mounting plate. The inner diameter of the mounting plate the above outer diameter fits into is 34.64mm.
