highly realistic but tricky to apply
This contact paper is beautiful and highly realistic. I'm so glad I chose it. If you're struggling to find a contact paper with highly realistic design this is the one to choose. However, it is very thick and has a strong adhesion (The adhesion does not seem to stick to my counter it just makes it difficult to move) making it difficult to reposition if you mess up. The other issue is because it is thick and heavy it is hard to see air bubbles until you shine a light at just the right angle. The other issue is the cost. This is the most money I've ever spent on contact paper, but it really is beautiful.I recommend this product just be aware you must go very slow with this and have a lot of time and patience to make it look flawless.

Impressed with the look
I'm surprised at how realistic this looks. I returned a different product that was not nearly as vivid as this one. I put this over nasty old laminate after light sanding. It was pretty easy to install but don't rely on the grid on the backing. The squares were just under 4" and some of them didn't match in size. I used a fabric cutter to cut mine down but the corners were tricky. I caulked the edges for a more realistic look so I'll see how it holds up!

LOVE IT!!
I bought one package after reading a pinterest article. I thought ok, of it works great I'll do the whole kitchen but let's try it out first. I'm glad I started out with my smaller counter to get the hang of things. It's super easy and looks amazing. I doubt it will last for years but will buy me some time until I can get new counter tops put in. Also a great way of trying out a color you're not so sure about.

Best Option for Transforming Your Rental Countertops
I'm writing this review after 15 months of use. Covered up the ugly 20+ year-old pale yellow tile (see before pic) that made up my rental kitchen's countertop and backsplash. After 15 months of daily cooking, spills, cleaning etc. I finally removed it. And only because the landlord made me (even though it looked way more attractive with it on) now that my lease is up. These are my thoughts.- The matte version is the most realistic. Tried the glossy version of this brand and other brands and it looked cheap.- You MUST use a blow dryer to install. It makes the application process much easier and allows you to stretch the paper over rounded edges for a more seamless look. It is very stretchy, but the pattern does not look deformed when you stretch it which I was worried about.- It's safe to use around sinks. I was worried the paper would eventually start lifting up around the edges of my sink because of moisture. It did not. I bought a caulk strip and stuck it around the sink over the paper, the caulk strip would not adhere and kept coming off so I just removed it entirely. It wasn't necessary.- It's heat resistant. This paper is thick and feels substantial. I used trivets to protect it from hot pans/pots most of the time and it never warped/melted even when I was too lazy to use a trivet.- It's easy to clean and stain resistant. Everything just wipes right off making it super easy to clean even over edges.- It's easy to remove. Took some initial elbow grease to pull up a corner, but peeled off with moderate amount of pulling. Adhesive residue was left only over areas where it covered cracked tiles. Used adhesive remover and it came right off.- I would 100% repurchase and install all over again

Beautiful temporary renters solution to an ugly countertop
Our rental bathroom vanity was an almond/yellow color and I wanted a temporary but modern/clean look to replace it. I installed this yesterday and really love how realistic the pattern looks and how easy it was to install. Some important notes about the final look. LIKES: (1) It is wide enough such that there are no seams on the countertop- which would have been very obvious and made it look faker. (2) It is very thick and seems like it will put up with a bit of wear and tear. (3) Easy to install (use a blowdryer for stretching it over the edge of a countertop for no air bubbles and a very realistic look!). (4) The pattern is very nice and looks about as real as your standard faux stone countertop (think IKEA). DISLIKES: (1) It is BRIGHT white, so if you have white cabinets that have even a little warmness or tone in them, they may clash- this is why I went for the darker gray cabinets. You can kind of tell with the sink and white cabinet (which I thought was bright white). (2) I went for the shiny finish because some reviewers were saying that the matte stained easily, and I wanted to be able to easily clean it- I think the trade off is that it looks a little shinier than granite/marble naturally looks, which contributes to the faux look- but honestly this is one of the more realistic ones I've come across. (3) If you have a rounded edge countertop you should have no problem blow-drying and stretching the film for a seamless look, but I had square edges and had trouble making it look neat- but I also have no experience and this was my first time applying this. Some things I learned when installing: 1) I Cut the hole for the sink a bit smaller than the sink actually is and then use relief cuts with scissors/razor to round it around the edge. Then carefully use a razor to cut of extra film around the sink. I then used a white 100% silicone caulk on all the seams to make it water proof and prevent peeling (bathrooms do get humid), and also for an altogether more realistic look. I thought I could apply the film as one piece but as I was applying the film I must have stretched it such that there was a huge air bubble that I could not get rid of. To save yourself time I recommend just making a single cut behind your sink which you won't even see.Love the finished result!

Amazing way to transform your kitchen!
Replacing our (in my opinion) hideous counters isn't an option for us at the moment so I've toyed with the idea of contact paper for a few months... Mixed reviews on a variety of other products meant I'd held off and was convinced that anything I bought would just look cheap/tacky or be a nightmare to apply. I'm so, so glad I decided to go for it with this product!• I decided to go for the Matt finish as the gloss seemed a bit too shiny for my liking in some other customer photos but that's my personal preference. I worried this might not make the surface as wipe-clean as gloss but the finish is BEAUTIFUL and still wipes clean no problem at all 🌟• Application was surprisingly easy! My husband gave me a hand initially to unroll as the roll was so tight and kept folding back on itself but after I got the hang of it, I completed the entire kitchen single-handedly. Unroll 2-3 inches at a time and align the edge before you unroll further. Use a credit card to ensure no bubbles then it's quick and easy to unroll the rest and stick down to the remainder of the space. There are YouTube videos out there that may help you if you're not so confident at applying but I would advise having a guillotine to make sure you've got a straight edge - this will make it easier to apply to the next section of the counter. I found it a little tricky to apply to the second section and stuck down about 8 inches of the counter before needing to unpeel and lift of two more times during my application - it stuck back NO problem at all and you'd never know it was taken on and off again.I then applied some white sealant I bought from Tesco to seal off all of the edges which has made it watertight and neatened any of the edges that weren't entirely flush with the wall and sink.• My ONLY complaint was the roll was a little short of my counters and I had to cut a bit more of the leftover roll to cover the lip of my countertops. It was perhaps 1 inch too short for this! This is hardly noticeable and I did know this would happen as I measured up before I purchased. But just be aware!I will definitely be purchasing another couple of rolls to cover other surfaces around the house and also for repairs / in the event that I need to reapply to the counters. I feel this product was cheap and easy enough to reapply that I'd be happy to replace if I needed to for any reason! And I can't tell you how many compliments we've received from friends and family on the quality - several people couldn't quite believe it was a vinyl sticker and could easily have been a new countertop!

I have bought 5 lots ,it was great but did not order enough so I reordered another one to finnished my kitchen but this one was only 15" long ?So I am sending it back for a refund .The supplier should have checked these before dispatch. This is not value for money if it is only 15"long

Best buy ever! Really!
Needed to upgrade my kitchen in my rented flat. I covered the tired looking dark green worktop with this Contact Paper and the result is truly amazing! The vinyl is thick and feels and looks of amazing quality. I’ve finally learned that all contact papers I ever handled before were of such poor quality! One of the best buys of my life I believe - no exaggeration! I only need to see how it holds with time while I will still make sure not to put hot pots or kitchen utensils on it and keep it constantly clean. Was definitely a little tricky to apply but the difficulty was surely not down to the product but to the odd shape I needed to cover (around the sink for example). I managed however to get a very very high degree of precision in the application. The only downside? I ordered a single roll (3m) and funny or not, it came in a HUGE Amazon branded box that could have fit a week’s worth of food shopping (you know what I mean) which felt like literally a humongous waste of resources. Will definitely buy more again of different styles for future needs!

Good quality
The print quality is fantastic, the pattern looks realistic and doesnt repeat. The adhesive seems good and the wrap can contour the front edge of the bathroom worktop with no issuesthe surface underneath has to be clean, cutting to size is fiddly as the product arrives on a roll so is curved. For fitting without bubbles, peel the backing off gradually and run your finger along as you go as picturedI would not use this as a kitchen counter as it can be scratched by knives
