Great printer at a reasonable price
A great printer at a reasonable price. I am 74 but still found the set up to be really easy and the wireless internet set up is very smooth. The quality of the printing is really good and the printer us very quiet . I can easily print from my phone, tablet and laptop.

Basic cheap 'n cheerful home printer.
This is a basic cheap and cheerful home printer/scanner I bought to replace my Cannon MG 2220 (It's not spilled drink proof - The Grandkids blame the cat). The two are actually very similar, the old power and USB cables fitting well into the new printer, which is just as well since no USB cable is provided with the 3650. The main new feature is that this version has a wireless link to your laptop or smart 'phone (Please don't ask which 'phones). Set- up was easy, either on-line or by the DVD provided, and worked on both my Windows 10 laptop and Windows 7 PC. The main weakness is the limited capacity ink cartridges - OK for Home admin/letters or printing photos of said Grandkids, but not up to printing 500 flyers etc. For office printing look elsewhere. But what do you expect for under £100.

A Printer Designed by People Who Hate Users
I regret to say that this printer is not a device so much as an ordeal. The Canon PIXMA MG3600 has no user interface screen, no readable error messages, and no apparent interest in communicating like a modern piece of technology. Instead, it conveys problems via a blinking light system that appears to be based on Morse code. When something goes wrong (which is often), the printer flashes at you meaningfully and expects you to Google what seven blinks followed by three blinks might signify. Spoiler: it usually means "buy more ink." This is not user-friendly. This is not intuitive. This is not acceptable in the year of our Lord 20-something. The lack of a display means even basic troubleshooting becomes a scavenger hunt through forums, PDFs, and YouTube videos filmed in 2014. A previous Canon model I owned—older, cheaper, and presumably built before joy was outlawed—at least had the decency to tell me what was wrong. This one just blinks judgmentally. Ink consumption is predictably atrocious, setup is fiddly, and every interaction feels like the printer is doing you a personal favour by functioning at all. When it does work, it prints adequately, which is the bare minimum and not a glowing endorsement. I feel like I didn't buy a printer. I bought a malevolent entity that feeds on human hope and £40 cartridges. This printer would be perfect for someone who: * Enjoys decoding flashing lights * Has unlimited patience * Misses the thrill of early-2000s tech frustration If you value your time, sanity, or basic dignity, I strongly recommend choosing literally any other model—preferably one that uses words instead of interpretive blinking to communicate errors. Two stars. And that’s extremely generous.

Obviously not new!
The product had obviously been used before as the printer ink was not sealed in and the usual tape and plastic holders to stop things moving in transit were not there. There were scratches on the lid of the printer and the outside box was quite tatty. I tried to set it up and managed to connect it to WiFi but the feeder was faulty and would not print in duplex. Single sided printing was no where near being aligned even after running all the cleaning options. I am having to return it. Very disappointed!

Easy set-up, great quality print.
From the box to operational in minutes. Straightforward set-up (follow the instructions, click the link on the computer/phone, press next a few times), easy. And quality print, great colour sunset photo as test print. Delighted.

Molto soddisfatto

Installation was time taking
Pros - Nice printer, good price quality ratio Cons - Difficult to install, we had to try the installation a couple of times before the printer got connected to Wifi. The ultimate option was to connect via USB and the printer is not supplied with one compatible with the printer. However, after a couple of tries, we could connect it using the router WPS button.
