Salt for My Water Softener I’ve been using Hydrosoft Granular Salt (25kg) for a while now in my granular water softener, and it’s consistently excellent. The granules are clean, dry, and uniform — no powdery residue or clumps, which means it feeds smoothly through the softener without causing any blockages. The bag is heavy at 25kg, but it’s manageable with the built-in handle. I store it in a dry place and it keeps well with no hardening or moisture issues. excellent quality water softening salt that I have used for years. There was a bit of a mixup with my order being split into a few deliveries but the seller was good in clearing that all up.

Living in a very hard area, I have been using this brand for 2 decades and never had any issues. For the reviewers who are complaining that this is granular salt and not salt tablets, the key is in the name "Granular". Not all water softeners can take salt tablets, a lot of the older designs require the use of granular salt.
