Formula 6.5 Inch 150W 2-Way Coaxial Car Speakers, Pair

These guys are BEEFY! Not only in sound, but build quality both of which are top notch for the price. They honestly fit more like 6.75" speakers because their basket is BIG so install took a little longer than true 6.5" speakers since I had to spend time orienting them just to make them fit the bracket. So I compared these to Kenwood 1666r and s, JBL GX628, Pioneer G Series, Alpine Type E and S and Rockford Prime Series. For the price, these blow ALL of them away running just off the factory headunit. Nice, tight, crisp mids, smooth highs and useful bottom end. These Quarts are LEGIT. One of the grills arrived cracked. I contacted MB Quart, and they sent me a replacement grill since I purchased these brand new on Amazon. Good customer service. Also according to the box, these come with TITANIUM dome tweeters NOT ALUMINUM as stated in the listing. Score! I'll take Titanium all day. That's why the highs are so smooth. In short, if you're looking for a speaker upgrade from OEM, these are so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

these speakers sound great!! in my honda odyssey van with a pioneer head unit

Put these in a 99 firebird. With a Kenwood head unit. After a few hours of break in, bass response is much better than the pioneers they replaced. I would bet the 6x9 have awesome bass, for cheap speakers. I have had Polk, JBL, infinity you name it. Yes, the tweeters are not as good as say silk domes. But gee the cost next to nothing. I am satisfied.

After I installed a new receiver in my car, one of my Polk Audio DB651 6.5" speakers, which I've had for years with the factory receiver, gave up the ghost in the passenger door of my Yaris sedan . I guess I pushed them too hard and after several months of higher power I heard snap, crackle and pop and that was that. I needed a pair of new 6.5s and after quite a bit of research settled on these MB Quart Formula speakers. The frequency range and power handling seemed good on paper and I'm happy to report they sound excellent.. crisp, clear and with some trebble tuned down a couple of notches I am happy with them. They are a little larger than the Polks and didn't slide all the way into my 6.5 metra speaker bracket but I tightened them down as far as I could without distorting the speaker frames. I breathed a sigh of relief whin my door panels fit without issues. These MB Quarts are bright but if you roll down the trebble a little they sound really good for the little money I paid for them. They will get me by until I settle on a component speaker and amp system in the near future.

Sounds great with 50rms radio

Great upgrade and extremely reasonable, great bang for your buck.

These kick! They're clear and faithful to the music and sound way better than the factory speakers (which are louder, but thinner/tinnier and less accurate). Now there's a sonic difference between an upright and grand piano. Combined with the NVX silicone baffles, they have nice, tight mid-lows, perfectly complimenting the sub. Even listening without the sub, these speakers have solid punch without distortion but there's a limit to how much bass any speaker this size, mounted in a car door, can produce. These are excellent and I'm truly excited to listen to music again. They compare favorably to the Infinity Reference component speakers I had in my prior ride but at 1/4 the price!

Sound outstanding very happy with them

Really nice sounding, good bass. The wire it comes with is complete garbage though.

Awesome quality sound great
