How often can I machine wash this? Will the non-slip backing peel off?

The silicone backing of our splat mat is integrated into the fabric, meaning it won't peel after repeated machine cycles. We recommend a gentle wash and hang dry—it dries fast, preserving the waterproof layer and non-slip grip for years of use.

Is the material safe for my baby to play on? Can I use it on carpet?

Yes. Crafted from BPA-free and non-toxic polyester, it’s safe for both mealtime and tummy time. The stay-put silicone dots provide superior grip on hardwood and carpets, ensuring the high chair mat won't bunch up while your toddler plays or eats.

Is the 51"x51" size big enough for all messes?

Yes. At 51"x51" (130cm), this high chair splash mat offers generous coverage for wide spills. The lightweight, foldable design makes it a versatile companion—perfect as a portable play mat, messy craft station, or outdoor picnic blanket.
