wow awesome
I have almond flour from same club, I also have coconut flour I choose a lot of health conscious changing foods for better health. I was running low on almond flour so I decided to just order it off of amazon since I had been shopping why not just grab some almond flour too ok I had to pick through different brands so I went with this one. I was at first very disappointed with the packaging of all my items no bubble wrap no care someone threw all my items in a box so the small box coffee grinder ripped open my almond flour and flour was spilt all over. ok I got over it and calmed down and just put my new almond flour ripped bag in a big zip lock bag. So from touching the almond flour and looking at its light and fluffy super soft texture of the flour was like my coconut flour I thought it was and looked at my bag that read almond flour and I compared it to the same club brand they sold was gritty . and I thought wow this mamas almond flour is so awesome and it mixed with coconut flour made the best homage chocolate cake my son made me for mothers day .wow try this flour its like really nice flour. you won't know till you know. Im glad I picked this one to try I give the flour 5 stars and I am very picky with quality whats best for me and my family healthy is the new you.

best gluten free flour
I am Gluten sensitive, and so have tried numerous flours. They each have created a very bad taste in my mouth, and a 'dust storm' as I threw them away, one after another. Can flour mills create anything worse tasting and charge any more money than they do??? It's nearly worth the pain to eat regular bread. BUT WAIT...there IS a gluten free flour that is GOOD! No, REALLY! IT! IS! GOOD! My positive for this product: I bake for several businesses, and I baked a couple of batches of cookies with no mention of gluten free...don't worry, I know my client's needs WELL Not one person caught the difference, all stated I bake 'the best'. I will only use THIS flour for me, and my clients. NEGATIVE: I hate the price, it's hugely expensive, so I waste NOTHING with it. It only comes in a 4lb. bag, or so I'm told, so make EXTRA SURE of what your needs, tastes, pocket book are...but if you choose this, you will NOT be disappointed. Truly a yum!

Spendy, but a great product.
I love this product. With some manipulation, I can get the gritty texture under control. I don't use it as a stand alone, i add oat flour and other GF flours to it in order to get the desired texture. I don't ever use just one brand as a stand alone. I have been told by customers that my gluten free baked goods are some of the best they ever had, and they have had a lot of rave reviews. I generally bake off what i think I'll need for a day or two and freeze the rest. I noticed by day 3, the texture goes a little weird. I personally don't follow a gluten free diet, but i have clients that want delicious baked goods that resemble the same texture that they were able to enjoy when they were able to eat gluten, or before they adopted a gluten free diet. I subtracted a star because the stuff is more expensive than other brands. I happened across this by accident when i replaced the pastry chef that ordered it initially. The owners wanted the product used, so it took me some time to get my ratios right. 1:1 ratio of oat to mama's, a little bit of vinegar, and don't forget the xanthan gum.

Terrific for gluten free baking!
I have found this flour to work well in everything I bake, rolls, biscuits, sweet bread, cookies and as a thickener for white sauce. Baked items are moist and tender. There is no distinct nut flavor, rather it's mild hint of nut flavor.

Disappointed
I have used this flour for years and loved it. I recently ordered again not realizing it changed hands I was very disappointed to see all the dark specks in the flour. It never had that before. I assume that means the almonds are no longer blanched before being ground. Very disappointing. I won’t be buying again.
