Riedell Sonar Riva Wheels - Quad Roller Skate Wheels

I know I was suspicious about the price as well with the sacrifice given to quality most companies are willing to make to make a decent profit. I will have to say this product is not that way. They have done a beautiful job offering a great indoor skate wheel. My experience at a new rink in my hometown with these wheels made me fall in love with skating again. Very responsive and provides a smooth ride. I’m able to keep in with speed skaters yet able to dance with some in middle of the rink. It’s a hybrid when it comes to the type of skating you do in the indoor facilities. Overall, the quality is very high for this price point and if you’re new to the skating scene, I recommend these to start with. Also you need to buy two sets of 4 because there are only 4 to a single package of these wheels

If you're a beginner to jam/dance skating these are descent wheels for pivots, JB and footwork on rink or on concrete - with abec 9 or 11 bearings - especially if you are heavier. our weight can slow the roll on bearings 7 and lower. Hardness + speed bearings make for easier dance moves. I was taught to change out my own wheels and bearings so I would have to rely on someone else all the time. The smaller hole may throw you off if you're changing your wheels your self but they good. skating 3 times a week at least an hour to practice so far they have been durable.

for roller skaters: these are great for intermediate skaters, although be sure to purchase two sets as these come in a pack of 4! super smooth but still have a little bit of grip to them, perfect for an indoor ride.

Great wheels. They are smooth and have good grip. I recommend these. I out them in my Riedell 120 roller skates.

I’ve roller bladed since childhood and just could not grasp roller skating coming from inline, it felt so weird and UNstable, despite being on quads. I decided to teach myself at my big age and bought some rollers months ago. I’d not even thought to check if my skates had indoor wheels all this time lol lo and behold they did not and I had spent quite some time trying to learn things in gummy outdoor wheels- inside! I was intimidated to know that indoor wheels don’t grip the floor (I had gotten so used to my outdoor wheels inside 🙈😂) but these are fantastic. I adjusted in no time and feel way more comfortable on my skates. Of course grab some new bearings with these!

I use these for freestyle skateboarding. Mostly because they're more affordable, and way more available where I am. They handle well on the courts, with a good balance between grip and slide. They're offset and deep enough to cover the axle nuts, most importantly. I don't expect them to last as long as bespoke freestyle wheels, but they're just fine for my purposes. I'm rarely well enough to skate these days anyhow.
