Easy to use
Easy to use. Be sure you mix with the dirt and not on top of plant. They blowup and hold lot of water. Don't have to water that much.

Been using this stuff for my plantings for years. You only need a very little bit per pot so this small bag is plenty to last for awhile!

Soil Moist vs. HydroStretch vs. Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals
I was looking for granules that absorb water and gradually release it into the soil. For years I have used something called "Water Grabber" which is no longer available. I tried two products, "HydroStretch" and "Soil Moist" (there is a third product, "Miracle-Gro Water Storing Crystals" that I did not try). "Soil Moist" appears to be the same thing as the old "Water Grabber". "HydroStretch" is not the same. I am not saying that one is better than the other -- that would require some experimentation -- just that "Water Grabber" and "Soil Moist" are the same thing.
