Sure. Just do not add alcohol instead add water

Can I add a little extra liquid so it won’t be so thick?

I really wouldn’t, unless. You add more unflavoured Gelatin, there’s a reason it needs to be thick. Consistency, is very important when it comes to making Jello. I think the same is true for this. I Personally wouldn’t add any extra liquid.

Does this setup as white in color?

Yes, it’s completely white jello. PS they came out really well. We used small cups, that you can buy at the grocery store.

How long does it take to become jello ?

About an hour or so it is set. It takes the same amount of time as regular jello to set.
