(Only once did the bag have a tear in it). Our guinea pigs love this hay and they are picky eaters!! It costs the same price online as it does at our local Walmart but I don't have to go to the store to get it - home delivery convenience!! The hay has always been fresh, packaged well, and loved by our 2 guinea pigs. Review: Guinea pigs love it ! - I have four guinea pigs, so Timothy hay is something I purchase constantly. This hay always comes well packed, and you can actually smell the hay when you open it, which I like because it smells fresh. My guinea pigs love it and eat it without any hesitation. I also really appreciate that it comes in a pack of two. With four guinea pigs going through hay pretty quickly, having that second pack gives me peace of mind that I have plenty on hand. I’ve purchased this multiple times and continue coming back to it because the quality has been consistent and, most importantly, all four of my guinea pigs enjoy it. ## Features - PEELS OFF IN LAYERS Wafer Cut Timothy Hay reduces mess and makes feeding easier - HAND-SELECTED TIMOTHY HAY to ensure long fiber strands and proper leaf to stem ratio - SUPPORTS DIGESTIVE HEALTH with the high fiber nutrition of Timothy Hay - FARMED SPECIFICALLY FOR SMALL PETS to get the most nutritional value for your animal - GROWN WITHOUT PESTICIDES or artificial preservatives; product is not genetically engineered in any way - CAREFULLY CRAFTED & TRUSTED by experts for over 150 years, Kaytee is made for animal lovers ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00DW79Y4G | | Additional Features | Wafer Cut Timothy Hay | | Age Range (Description) | All Life Stages | | Age Range Description | All Life Stages | | Allergen Information | Allergen-Free | | Animal Food Diet Type | Veterinary Diet | | Animal Food Ingredient Claim | Non-GMO | | Animal Food Nutrient Content Claim | High Fiber | | Best Sellers Rank | #449 in Pet Supplies ( See Top 100 in Pet Supplies ) #1 in Small Animal Health Supplies | | Brand | Kaytee | | Brand Name | Kaytee | | Breed Recommendation | Small Breeds | | Container Type | Bag | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 10,366 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Flavor | Timothy Hay | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00071859947518 | | Included Components | Kaytee Wafer Cut All Natural Timothy Hay for Pet Guinea Pigs, Rabbits & Other Small Animals, 60 Ounce | | Item Form | Wafer | | Item Type Name | Kaytee Wafer Cut Hay | | Item Weight | 3.8 pounds | | Manufacturer | Central Garden & Pet | | Manufacturer Part Number | 100213648 | | Model Number | 100213648 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Package Size Name | 60 Ounce | | Pet Type | Small Animal | | Product Benefits | kaytee;timothy hay;Wafer Cut Hay;Grown in the USA;hay | | Recommended Uses For Product | Pet Food for Small Animals, Digestive Health Support | | Special Ingredients | Timothy Hay | | Specific Uses For Product | Digestive Health | | Target Species | Guinea Pig | | UPC | 071859947518 | | Unit Count | 60 Ounce | | Warranty Description | As Labeled | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** All Life Stages - **Brand:** Kaytee - **Flavor:** Timothy Hay - **Item Form:** Wafer - **Specific Uses For Product:** Digestive Health ## Images ![Wafer Cut Timothy Hay for Rabbit & Guinea Pigs, 60 Ounce - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81jhOKVIF8L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: About how long would this bag last with one rabbit?** A: a rabbit should have access to unlimited amounts of hay our four rabbits weighing seven lbs each go thru eight 48 oz bags a month they are new Zealand breed **Q: Is this hay trust worthy to buy?** A: I'm not sure what would make it not trustworthy. It seems fine to me. The same Timothy hay I usually get, but cut and packaged in a way that makes it much easier to pull apart. **Q: Do i put this this in the bottom of the cage or do i put it in a feeding rack?** A: Feeding rack /bin or flat surface where they can eat off of. Might fall too much through bottom of cage, not that your rabbit might not drag to our through there when eating anyways. **Q: How many layers is in the 60 oz bag?** A: Plenty for a month and it's long enough for 2 Guinea pigs to eat ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our Guinea Pigs Love This!! *by K***M on September 22, 2026* This hay is always delivered in good condition. It's generally fresh and buying large packs like this helps a lot with the amount the pig eats.
