Its soft consistency delivers the balance of grip and subtlety for controlled bowing and nuanced expression. Suitable for use with any cello bow, this rosin enhances performance in temperate and colder climates and helps maximise rosin-to-string contact for superior responsiveness - HANDMADE HERITAGE SINCE 1890: Developed from one of Francis Hider's original cello recipes, this rosin is hand-mixed and hand-poured in England using time-honoured methods and select natural ingredients. Hidersine's reputation was built on high-quality cello rosin and resin for violin and viola, making it a trusted choice for over a century. The 6C is a firm favourite among professionals and orchestral players seeking expressive warmth and a traditional, British-made product - PREMIUM INGREDIENTS FOR EXCEPTIONAL TONE: Hidersine's 6C rosin uses natural colophony and carefully selected waxes, resulting in a cello resin that is smooth, consistent, and effective. The dark formulation gives a strong initial attack while maintaining clarity across all registers. Unlike synthetic blends, this natural cello rosin offers enhanced bow hair adhesion and a warmer, more human sound for soloists and ensemble players alike. Also works well as bow rosin for violins in a pinch - LARGE 30G CAKE WITH TRADITIONAL PRESENTATION: Each 6C Deluxe Rosin comes in a generous 30g cake, wrapped in a classic cloth and boxed for protection. The large size ensures long-lasting value, even with frequent use by regular performers. Whether you're buying your first premium cello rosin or upgrading from a basic option, this rosin makes a clear difference in feel and sound. Also a suitable gift for advancing students seeking professional-grade cello bow rosin or cello resins - TRUSTED BY PROFESSIONALS WORLDWIDE: Endorsed in reviews by publications like The Strad, Hidersine rosins are known for consistency and playability. This cello rosin provides clean string response and low dust for performers who want control without harshness. Suitable for orchestras, chamber groups, and soloists, this is more than just rosin-it's a carefully crafted performance tool. Use with confidence on cello bows, and know you're playing with a piece of musical history ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B000KYPINK | | Back Material Type | Maple | | Best Sellers Rank | #5,156 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #2 in Cello Rosin | | Body Material Type | Pine Resin | | Brand | Hidersine | | Brand Name | Hidersine | | Color | brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 101 Reviews | | Finish Type | Brushed | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05036678000542 | | Instrument | Cello | | Instrument Size | Large - Dark Deluxe | | Item Dimensions | 2 x 2.25 x 1.5 inches | | Item Type Name | Violin Part | | Item Weight | 18.14 g | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 2 x 2.25 x 1.5 inches | | Manufacturer | Hidersine | | Manufacturer Part Number | 6C | | Material Type | Colophony | | Model Name | Hidersine 6C | | Model Number | 6C | | Number of Items | 1 | | Operation Mode | Manual | | Size | Large - Dark Deluxe | | Sound Profile | warm tone | | String Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | N.
