The decorative portion looks engraved or stamped on the face of the metal buckle. It isn't a separate piece or application. **Q: Anyone have an idea how to remove the buckle after fastening it? Need to trim the belt shorter, so I have to take the buckle off.** A: Pull out on the buckle. It is spring loaded to hold against the belt **Q: There's a "01 carbon fiber" buckle listed on the site. is it truly carbon fiber? if so, i trust it won't set off the tsa detectors?** A: The description, in part says: "Made of high quality zinc alloy". I suspect the carbon fiber is only an inlay on the front surface of this buckle. I just checked a similar buckle and found that most of the metal is non-ferrous (not magnetic) but there are some places that attract a magnet. Considering the quality of folks at airport TSA stations, they will treat anything that looks like metal as something that gets a ride through the x-ray machine. Hope you enjoy your ratchet belt. **Q: the pin broke on my micro adjustable belt. Do you have parts available?** A: No ## Frequently Bought Together - CHAOREN 40mm Ratchet Belt Buckle for 1 3/8 Slide Belt Strap, Click Buckle Adjustable Skeleton Shape - CHAOREN Ratchet Belt Replacement Strap 1 3/8”, Leather Belt Strap for 40MM Slide Click Buckle - Barry.Wang Ratchet Belt Buckle Strap Replacement 1 3/8”,Leather Belt Straps for 40MM Slide Click Buckle,Trim to Fit --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/98394809-chaoren-40mm-ratchet-belt-buckle-only-for-1-3-8](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/98394809-chaoren-40mm-ratchet-belt-buckle-only-for-1-3-8) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
