**Q: Is this waterproof / sea proof?**
A: It is water-resistant, but not waterproof

**Q: What range of temperature does it measure eg -20C to +40C**
A: It doesn’t measure at all. I’m the Cairngorms in winter it was-10c during day and temperature gauge didn’t move at all. Nice idea, but an old-school mercury thermometer would likely be more accurate and reliable.
