Before I figured out what was wrong, my vehicle would isle up very high while driving 25 mph. It would take my vehicle so long to kick in and when it did it would still go slow. It also made a strange noise when starting and turning off the engine. The Throttle body has a sensor in it that cannot be bought separately and fixed. I bought the Throttle body and accelerator pedal and changed both myself (your accelerator pedal has a sensor as well). I didn't know which one it could be at the time so I bought both and changed both. My 2016 Dodge Journey Se works like nothing was ever wrong. There's a YouTube channel to show you how to do it yourself without paying somebody else to do it if you chose to do it yourself. My apologies for the long winded words. But I'm super excited I can help someone (Mind you I'm not a mechanic) because I accomplished this on my own. #SuperExcited Best of positive vibes to you on getting your vehicle fixed. Namaste **Q: Does this throttle body come with a new gasket as well?** A: Yes it does come with one, you don't need to buy it. **Q: This part was supposed to line up with my 2011 jeep Liberty sport** A: i purchased it for my 2016 jeep Patriot & i havent had problems since... you have to remember they make the same lart for several different cars but its the same part hopefully that helps u out 😉 ## Frequently Bought Together - Electronic Throttle Body - Compatible with Chrysler, Jeep & Dodge 2.0L and 2.4L - 200, Sebring, Avenger, Caliber, Journey, Compass and Patriot - Replaces 04891735AC, 977025, 4891735AD - 2007-2017 - Standard Motor Products, Inc. - Standard Accelerator Peda (APS274) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/97121826-fuel-injection-throttle-body-assembly-compatible-with-chrysler-dodge-jeep](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/97121826-fuel-injection-throttle-body-assembly-compatible-with-chrysler-dodge-jeep) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
