I was very anxious to find out as much as I could about this healing method. I am working in the computers field, so by all means, I have no close relationships with any alternative healing methods or holistic healing. If anything, my brain was trained to reject holistic work! The first pages of the book are a series of well known experiments performed by people that helped us be where we are today. All these people, their experiments and observations have a great contribution to the basis of physics, chemistry, anatomy and all the science related fields. So the first pages were relatively easy for my brain to understand and to agree with. It was all logical, the way that all of us are used to see things (or I should say "trained to see things around us"), so it made perfect sense. Dr. Bartlett inserted few of his life experiences here and there and it made the reading easier and pleasant. My brain could deal with it, no problem there. I kept reading more and more and I found myself to the point where quantum physics, its interpretation and application in the Matrix Energetics Method started to surface. Well, this was a challenging moment to me since logic started to fall apart and to be blown away. I kept on reading and found myself to a point where I had to try to apply some of the techniques explained in the book. Almost nothing made sense to my brain anymore and I had to try it before I could continue reading further. So I was looking for a subject to try the things I was reading about in the book. And what better subject/person I could find to apply them on than myself? So I applied a basic correction to a sore spot on the back of my shoulders. Well, in less than 5 minutes the pain was gone and I felt an increased amount of energy flowing through my body. I was so excited with the result, that for the first time, my brain did not even try to find an explanation to the reason why the pain was gone in almost no time at all. I kept on reading the book for the next few days and I was more and more amazed on how well it is written and how easy it is to understand what you can do to help yourself and help others getting rid of pain and improving their life in general. For somebody new to this type of work, the book was a great eye opener to the fact that there are some things in the universe that you do not need understand or even to try to understand. Just take them as they are, experience with them and have fun learning something new, that makes no sense at all if you try to find a logical explanation. I am so happy and so amazed with what I have read and experienced so far that I am even considering taking one of Dr. Bartlett's seminars soon. Review: Highest level of order I've ever found - When I was a kid, I read books, seeking higher levels of order. I enjoy stories. I enjoy reading about creating stories, levels of meaning, and so on. I love "chunking up" to ever higher levels of order. Other people have said some eloquent things, probably better than I could. So I'll just say that this book is at the highest level of order I have found. Some people don't like that. I learned the 2 point from the book, applied it immediately, and got immediate results. That's pretty good, just for a book. I just finished his seminar. He does not sell belief systems, he sells how to create and get rid of belief systems, more quickly than any other system I know, and a whole lot of other things besides. His daughter is just as quick as he is. I cannot do this course justice in a review. He has quite a set of tools, and a way to make your own when you need them. The Tao Te Ching talks about minimal effort for maximum return, and this guy is there. What he offers is the spiritual heart of martial arts, the place of no-mind, Wu Chi, Mushin, whatever you want to call it. If you ever wanted to learn at the feet of Yoda, or Dr. Masaki Hatsumi, or Bugs Bunny, or Jesus, here is your chance. Dr. Hatsumi teaches something like this in his most advanced seminars, but you have to be fluent in Japanese, and have a lot of experience. If you resonate to the book, the seminar is a development of that. I thought I was well read and knew a lot before I took his seminar. Turns out I'm not. I feel totally fascinated, like a little kid learning there is something called the alphabet, and reading. Which is great! You can spend a lot more in other seminars- I have- and get far less than what this guy offers. If you want similar books, Secrets of Shamanism: Tapping the Spirit Power Within You is a good start, as is Theta Healing: Introducing an Extraordinary Energy Healing Modality , and Redneck Shaman . Before I went to the seminar I read Dr. Bartlette's second book that focused in more on the eneregitic dynmatics that allows for his techniques to manifest into what most pf us would call "miracles" from a scientific point of view. I already started to feel some shifting happening before attending the seminar about a week before the actually training event in Philly. It was subtle and I could not put my finger on what was actually occurring. When came to the training I had some notion of what to expect but no idea the wave of some physics modality would affect me so profoundly and after Mellisa crash a wave around me on stage all I could do is collapse right there on the spot and feel the waves of peacefully tranquality wash across my body for about 20 minutes or so. So I thought on, this must be what transformation feels like in my heightened awareness state of being. Then I was able to repeat the process with other having samilar affects on them. I have been delighted with the trainings and the Book on Miracles. When I read Energy Matrix for the first time about 3 weeks ago it again took me back to the space of Dr Bratlette's trainings with what actually occurs in that space with some of the science behind it more from a historical standpoint of other researchers. The book also shows Dr Bartlette in his medical practice working with his techniques for the first times along with one of his callogues who often served as a seraget of sorts with a lot of often humerous outcomes in attempting to refine the transformational outcomes with their clients. The lighter humanistic experimentation of the founder of Matrix Energetics is what probably makes taking the trainings with Dr Bartlette so much fun when one does go to one of his seminars. I book also helped me brush up on some of the practices of M.E. that I was a bit rusty on and again like Dr. Bartlette's second book about the "miracles of ME helped brind me back more intensily to that head space that I am party to since taking the Level 1 & 2 training.
