It mixes better than I thought it would and doesn’t leave a gritty texture at the bottom of the glass, which is always my main annoyance with powders. The taste is very mild and easy enough to drink on its own, although it’s even less noticeable in juice. The tub is a decent size, the scoop is handy, and I like that it’s just L-glutamine without lots of added flavourings or sweeteners. No stomach upset or odd aftertaste so far either. It is on the pricier side compared with some basic alternatives, but the clean formula and easy mixing make it feel worth paying a bit more for. Happy with it and would recommend. ## Frequently Bought Together - Pure Encapsulations - L-Glutamine Powder - Hypoallergenic Amino Acid Supplement - 227 Grams - Pure Encapsulations - Magnesium (Glycinate) 120mg - Bioavailable Magnesium Chelate Tiredness and Fatigue Supplement - 90 Capsules - Pure Encapsulations - Vitamin B-Complex Plus - Balanced B Vitamin Formula with Active Folate - 60 Capsules --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/96384004-pure-encapsulations-free-form-l-glutamine-powder-227-grams](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/96384004-pure-encapsulations-free-form-l-glutamine-powder-227-grams) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
