But most of all, I'm very disappointed this fan lacks a higher speed. It almost seems this fan's high speed mode is comparable to other brand's medium speed and seriously lacks moving a lot of air. I have one Hunter 60" fan in my Study that will blow the books off the shelves on high whereas these two fans together barely produce the airflow of my one Hunter on medium. Unfortunately, I'm inclined to keep these two fans because of the time and efforts already spent for the installation and don't want to compound my efforts again for replacing them. The three star rating is mostly for cost, quality, and application versatility. Assembly & installation takes longer than most and performance is disappointingly POOR. The fan arrived on time, the packaging was secure, and instructions were very easy to follow. The fan itself appears to be very good quality, its totally sealed to keep out moisture and pests. Installation was a breeze and the company includes spare screws just in case you lose one or two. Once installed, the fan is very quiet and perfectly balanced.
