On my original valve just a small plastic insert was broken... **Q: Will this regulator work for style thermos grill 2 go , model #46561103, serial number 037040?** A: I have the Grill2Go (x200) model 12401734. And this regulator worked perfect if that helps. **Q: Is the brass twist lock end 5/8” wide? Or 9/16”?** A: I'm sorry I don't know. I found where it says "2-1/8" long burner gas supply tube with orifice and threaded mount for using either a portable propane cylinder or full size tank adapter hose". Maybe that will help you. **Q: Is this better than the one that came with the grill to go? i cannot control the flame at all with the one on there now** A: I have had no trouble controlling the flame. Good Luck ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Regulater *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on May 10, 2024* Perfect fit ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Made different from the original one *by R*** on Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2022* The original one is a " insert and twist " to lock the brass end in the grill. This on is designed different - there is no way to lock it to the grill. Had to fabricate a device to hold it in place. Otherwise, it works fine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Much better quality than original *by P***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2022* Good quaility but I had to have a thread adaptor made to use it because the Char Broil has a turned lock that holds this fitting in place and to I had to reuse the o.e. male fitting where it enters the bbq and have a threaded step up adaptor made. I am still happy as the quality is much better --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/93541961-bbq-regulator-valve-tru-infrared-fits-char-broil-grill2go-2012](https://www.desertcart.co.za/products/93541961-bbq-regulator-valve-tru-infrared-fits-char-broil-grill2go-2012) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Africa* *Store origin: ZA* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
