I chose this one obviously, and I haven't used it yet. It is so elegant and beautiful. This was intended to be my practice cutting sword, and I'll get a polyethylene bokken from cold steel for a sparing sword. I have only sharpened the long blade on wet stones, and it is fatal piece of decor at the moment.The only reason I'm writing this is because amazon suggested it, and I wanted the company who sold it to have 5 stars for their business. I can't yet make claims to its durability and edge retention, and I have no sword experience to compare it to, but the craftsmanship is something to be seen for the lay or amateur swordsman. I just had the urge to learn kendo one day (which i have yet to start) and learn something about this spectacular sword dance that happens with masters and their katanas.
