It started out a bit itchy, but over time it stopped. It will fray garments if your wrist constantly move across your clothes. The sparkle & pop is still going strong, but like another commenter, the lil strap that secures the band is starting to show some wear n' tear. One thing to note, mounting & removing watch pin is very tricky. I ended up breaking part of the mount pin in the mount hole of the watch, yielding a $60.00 repair fee to remove it. At first I thought it would be itchy because the of the little looped piece that holds the extra portion of band around your wrist, but I loosened the band to the next hole to get it directly off my skin and it worked out perfectly.
